Levi x Eren One Shots

Hanji's Mistake

Levi's POV

Hanji barges through my office door, distracting me from my paperwork, she looks a wreck. "Was there an explosion in that little lab of yours?" When I ask this she shakes her head 'no' and looks down guiltily. This peeks my interest. "What did you do?" I ask and she finally says "I think it would be better if I show you." I don't protest as long as I know what she feels so guilty about.

She walks out the door and I get up out of my desk to follow her when she comes back with something wrapped up in her arms. It appears to be a child, though I don't know why she would bring a child to me. She puts the child down and whispers in its ear, it started joyfully jumping up and down on the spot. The child turned around and grinned at me, he was very young around six and he resembled Eren an awful lot.

"Eren?" I'm sure this must be a mistake, this couldn't be Eren, he wasn't a child, he was the handsome young man who I had come to love and this child can't be him. I fell to my knees, tears blurring my vision. The young boy ran towards me and wrapped his arms around my neck. "Don't cry Heichou, it's still me." He whispered in my ear. I wrapped my arms around his waist and held him tight, he was still my Eren.

"I'll do my best to fix this, I promise." Hanji says as she exits the room, leaving Eren and I alone in the small office. I hope Hanji finds a way to change him back soon.
