Cup Cakes!

In this recipe, I will teach you how to decorate your cup cakes as well as make them!
Preheat the oven to 180 degrees and add patty pans to muffin/cup cake tin holders
Ingredients:
125g of butter softened
165g of sugar (any type)
225g of self raising flour
2 eggs
1/2 a cup of milk
(Optional: a teaspoon of vanilla extract)

You will also require these tools:
An electric mixer
A scale
A spatula
A microwaveable cooking bowl
Knife

Now we can begin.
Chop up 125g of butter, put it in your bowl and place the it in the microwave for 30 seconds. Take it out once done and place you bowl on the scales. Measure 225g of self raising flour on the scales and then measure 165g of sugar. Crack two eggs into the bowl and finish off the mixture by adding 1/2 a cup of milk. I add vanilla extract to my cup cakes but it won't effect the results if you don't add it. Grab your electric mixture and mix it together until smooth and all is combined. Convert your mixture from your bowl and into the patty pans then put it in the oven for 20-25 minutes.
When you take them out don't decorate them straight away your icing will melt and run off the cupcake. Wait for 15 minutes before you ice them. If you'd like a recipe and explanation on how to decorate you cup cakes read on to the next page! If not enjoy!
