I slam my hand on my alarm, smashing it in the process. I groan, letting out a yawn,rubbing my tired eyes.
Stumbling out of bed I head to my bathroom. I quickly carry out my daily routine in the bathroom. Seeing as I've showered the night before I only brush my teeth and wash my face. I pick up a tiny blue fluffy towel and dry my face, placing it back before heading towards my closet to chose what to wear for the day.
Just then someone burst into my room.
"Happy birthday,Rose" Someone screamed.
Nearly giving in to a heart attack I screamed.
"Amelia, you can't be creeping up on me like that. Are you trying to give me heart problems?" I snapped.
She pouted and widened her eyes which made her look so innocent and adorable.
She knows it's my weak spot and uses it for her advantage. I couldn't stay mad at her when she pulled that face, regardless of what she did .
She knew that.
My face softened and she gave me her big toothy grin. Chloe might only be 5 but she's smart for her age.
I smiled at her. "What did you say it was?" I asked.
Amelia rolled eyes."Your birthday, Rose" She said, enthusiastically.
What?
"My what?" I said, utterly confused. How can it be my birthday?
"How can you forget? Your going to find your mate today and shift" She said, eyes sparkling.
I sprinted to my calendar. Sure enough, it was my birthday.
" I totally forgot." I mumbled, surprised.
Putting her hands on her hips,she started shaking her head.
"Get ready, we have a surprise for you downstairs" She said, rushing out of my room.
'Your going to find your mate today and shift' I recalled Amelia's words.
By the time they sunk in I was jumping up and down in excitement.
I went back to my closet, and decided to wear something different from my usual casual outfits.
I picked out a white strappy bodycon dress, in my mind imaging them with my black pumas that had a white platform. Quickly, I put on my white lace bra and pants before laying my outfit on my undone bed.
After that, I went back into my bathroom to do my hair.
Seeing as I was mixed race, I had long curly hair that I decided to style in to a half up halfdown hairstyle. That sounds much easier said than done. First I had to wetten my hair, section it and then apply my curl custard. It's a struggle but my curls be popping.
