A crowd had gathered outside Baisa's stadium. Teenage girls chatted excitedly to their less than enthusiastic parents. Older fan girls touched up their makeup hoping to be noticed by the young star they had paid to see.

Echo watched the people around her with interest. Her long ginger hair moved slightly in the wind. The woman next to her tightened the scarf around her neck. "It's cold tonight! Are you sure you still want to go to the concert?"

"Yes mum! Of course I do! I'd go to the ends of the world to see a Luke Ambler concert! He's the best live singer ever. All the magazines say so!" Echo showed her mother the biggest smile "Maybe he'll sing Forever or... or maybe Roses for my love. They are my favourite songs... Or maybe he'll sing his new song. That would be awesome!"

Echo's mother laughed "Okay! Okay!" Her green eyes shined bright under the streetlight. Vanille loved her daughter greatly and had made it her mission to make her daughter as happy as possible. Looking at her daughter Vanille saw herself staring right back. 25 years ago, she was as innocent as Echo was but that all changed when she met Lightning and the others. In that moment Vanille wondered what life had in store for her innocent daughter because something always happens that destroys someone's view of the world.

"The doors are opening. They're opening the doors Mum! It's almost time to see him!" Echo let out a small shriek that attracted the attention of some fans in front of them.

"Well we still have to wait for the queue." Vanille pointed out. As the queue  got shorter and they got closer to the doors Echo got more and more excited. By the time they had got to the door Echo was about to faint. Once inside, mother and daughter went off to find some food before the show.

Behind the stage Luke stared at the mass of people that poured into the stadium jostling each other to get the best spot. This was the show that he had looked forward to the most. After being away for a year on tour, he had finally come home.

There was still another half an hour before he was due on stage so he wandered back to his dressing room to get ready. The room was tiny compared to the giant room that he had just been in, but in some ways he preferred it. While he loved to be on stage performing for thousands of people who sang his songs back to him and screamed for more, he also enjoyed being alone. It gave him time to think. Staring into the mirror Luke admired his electric blue hair. The ladies loved how unusual it was and they often complimented him on it. Another feature that the ladies loved was his green eyes and chiseled cheeks. Sighing Luke picked up a tie that was on the table and tried to put it on.

As he tightened the tie around his neck Seth his manager strode into the room. "Ready hotshot?"

"Will be in about 10 seconds." Luke replied.

"Good. I need my star in his best shape for the most important concert of the tour!" Seth clapped him on the back. "Sold out in under an hour! They love you here... Listen I was thinking, while you're here you should do a couple of publicty stunts. Like maybe visiting the school or maybe the hospital... No! You should do a free concert in the park where we could sell lots of stuff with your face on. How does that sound?"

Luke stared at his manager "No way man, I was looking forward to a month of nothing!"

"Think about it hotshot. They'd love you even more if you did something. Show you are giving back to the community that raised you. Just do something. Once you've thought about it call me, yeah? 'cause I only want people who want to do something in my company. Do you understand hotshot?" Seth glared at Luke before storming out and slamming the door. Luke sighed before following him. He would have to think about it later but now it was show time.
