Info needed for chapter:
[Y/N] = [Your Name] You like rain when you aren't in the middle of it, which is one of the only details specified here. You don't have a gender, height, appearance, etc. However, you are shorter than Howdy, but that's about as specific as I'll get. You're typically level-headed but can get stressed with certain situations involving particularly difficult people[3].
Y/N doesn't really have a specific little age for this chapter. I guess the only defining factor would be the bottle they drink from closer to the end, but that's about it. Maybe it differs. It's up to you.
"[]" with a number written in them will have notes at the end. There are notes in info because you're meant to go back once done reading, as some notes may contain slight spoilers.
Warning(s): Yelling, crying, lying, fearfulness, stress, anger, slight cursing, accusing someone of saying they wanted another person dead (I believe this is actually a criminal offense)

You loved working as a cashier at Howdy's job. You found it so fun and wacky, so it was a nice place for you to be. Plus, you were allowed upstairs in Howdy's living quarters if you needed a break. You loved it here.
That being said, ever since more people had been showing up to live in the neighborhood, you'd noticed one that particularly wasn't friendly. You hadn't gotten their name yet, but they had the demeanor of a grumpy old man that acted like a Karen. You'd seen him talking down to a child, a young kid named Jamie that the resident closest-thing-the-neighborhood-had-to-a police-officer-and/or-medic had adopted. Ever since that incident, both you and Mr. Smith had started to dislike the man, and Mr. Smith had become especially impatient when it came to interacting with him. You couldn't blame him. The way he spoke to Jamie was just... so... bad... it felt bad, like it carried a bad feeling in the air. You didn't like the man.
Plus, he had caused problems at Howdy's shop before, though you hadn't personally seen the larger ones. According to Howdy, the man had tried to steal a bag of chips and other junk food, which, since they were such small things, they only costed a joke. The prices had increased over the years since he started to need money for certain things when it came to the neighborhood's prosperity, but it was still only a few dollars for the fanciest items—Howdy refused to let them get genuinely expensive.
The man had also caused a huge spill, resulting in the waste of the liquids that actually did cost money, but he refused to pay, and Howdy wasn't able to make him since Mr. Smith wasn't available that day, so he settled for giving the man a week's ban from the store, and he violated that as well. He was issued a warning from Howdy, enforced by Mr. Smith once he was available again.
