"Can I, you know, possibly go with you?"
You know that sound that you make when you're bored? Yeah, that sighing sound. Well right now, those are the only sounds coming out of Camille's mouth. If you're thinking of something dirty, I just wanna tell you that you deserve to be bitch slapped so hard, you dirty minded person. I'm kidding, obviously.
It has been almost 2 months since Cam finished her tour. The most frequently asked questions were always, "Why is she always taking breaks?" Well to answer that, it has been almost a year that she's been touring and everybody deserves a break.
Rolling over again and again and again on her bed, the girl thought of multiple things she could do. First, hang out with her friends? No. They're busy doing God knows what. Second, go out by herself. Sounds lonely but it would be good. She needs new stuff anyways.
So she got up from her bed then changed her clothes. She figured a t-shirt and denim shorts would do because it's really hot. On her feet were black flip-flops with neon pink straps. Camille put her money in her wallet then grabbed her car keys as well as her phone.
Driving off towards the mall, her stomach grumbled. When was the last time she ate? Oh well. She passed by a drive-thru but she didn't care. She'd rather eat at the mall. She just hoped that there wouldn't be a lot of people there.
Entering the parking lot of the mall, a girl was there giving tickets to the drivers inside the car. When she stopped, she gave her a ticket. "Have a nice day!"
She smiled and went up, parking her car at the third floor. Turning off the ignition, she went out and locked her car using the button on the keys. She didn't really want to go there alone but she also didn't wanna disturb other people.
She hates the feeling when she's walking alone and people look at her. Or maybe just stare. She feel as if her legs are wobbling and she's not walking properly but don't we all?
"Ow!" Camille said and a little bit too loudly too.
"I'm so so sorry. I didn't look to where I was going." The boy said.
He was cute, to say the least. He has brown hair which was very long and his eyes were brown with specks of green in them. She didn't know how she saw it because he was wearing a hat but maybe it was her glasses — which were kinda crooked.
"Your uhm... Glasses." He said. He looks so familiar.
"Yeah," She fixed it. "I feel like I know you from somewhere."
"Really?" He exclaimed. "I thought I was the only one."
"Who are you?" She asked nicely.
"My name's James. A lot of people know that 'cause I'm an actor." He said, smiling at her.
"Ooh! That's why you looked familiar. Name's Camille but I go by Cam." She told him.
"Wait! You're the DJ, right?" He asked her.
"Yeah," Camille answered before looking at her watch. "Time's running so I gotta go."
"Can I, you know, possibly go with you?" James asked.
"Uhm sure." She nodded and they walked together. "I sure hope that you're comfortable with walking because it's going to be a long walk."
"I'm fine with that." He said. "What brings you here? I heard you were on tour."
"Okay and to answer your question, I'm on a break. I was bored at my house so I decided to come here." She answered him. "Oh. Have you eaten yet?"
"No. I'm starving though."
Reid was James' last name and he's a Filipino actor. He's half American though and he speaks English almost all the time so they got along very well. Every actor has their love teams and James had Nadine. The media thought they were together but both of them stated that they were not into one another.
The two went to Tokyo Tokyo which is a Japanese restaurant. James had suggested it and Camille agreed. She hasn't had Japanese food in a long time. Both of them fell in line and waited for their turn.
"What are you ordering?" James asked.
Camille turned around to look at James and answered him. "I'm thinking of Pork Tonkatsu with a side of California Maki. Is that good?"
James nodded. "Yeah. I think I'll get the same order."
"Would you please take your hat off?" She asked, chuckling a bit.
"Why?" He asked.
"It's kinda disturbing." She stated.
"But the fans." He reasoned.
"No. They won't bother you, I promise." She told him.
James removed his hat and Camille reached for it, putting it on her own head. "Plus, it looks better on me."
He laughed. "Whatever."
It was his turn to order. The cashier girl was astonished to see James in front of her it almost made Cam laugh. The cashier recovered and said, "Konichiwa! Ano po order niyo?" (Konichiwa! What's your order?)
"I'll have two Pork Tonkatsu's with a side of California Maki and red iced tea for the drinks. Upsize it to large please. Thanks." James stated perfectly.
"Wait. You ordered for the both of us?" Camille asked, standing beside James. The cashier probably knew her too because her eyes widened.
"No. I'm gonna eat it all because I'm so hungry." James said sarcastically before rolling his eyes. "Of course. Why else would I order two?"
"Okay, Mr. Sarcastic." She rolled her eyes at him.
"Is that all, sir?" The girl behind the counter asked. James nodded. "Well that'll be 580 pesos, sir."
Camille pulled her wallet from her pocket and fished for money. Before she could give it to the girl, James gave the girl a thousand peso bill. She glared at him.
"What?" James laughed.
"I was gonna pay for that." She said sadly.
"It's on me." He told her, poking her cheek.
"I'm not gonna protest. It's yummy food and it's free. I'll take it." She winked.
"Here's your change."
They both sat down, James in front of Cam, and waited for their order.
