Marry me.
Today and everyday.

It was time for the newly weds’ dance and they were playing Marry Me by Train. It was such a good song and I listen to Train when I’m not listening to EDM. Their songs are great and they’re just one of my favorites.

As they were dancing, Martijn pulled me close to him and kissed my temple. It literally drove me crazy! It made my insides all squiggly and they went into a frenzy.

I don’t really know why but lately, Martijn has been getting very very affectionate with me. I don’t know, I really don’t. Not that I don’t like it, because I do. I really really do, but I would also really like to know why he’s doing it.

Trying not to overthink it, which I just did and I hate myself for it. Don’t overthink it. Don’t overthink it. And voila! I am officially overthinking it but whatever.

I looked to my left to see Dillon and Nicole laughing. I mentally awed at the sight of the two of them. They looked so cute together. Perfect, even.

I then looked at Max and Jeannie who wasn’t enjoying the time with their dates. Well, mostly Max. I don’t think she ever mentioned boys before. Ever.

I then looked at the newly wedded couple. Annie was smiling so big and so is Raymond. They really are in love. I wish I would have that one day. Be wedded to the man I love and have kids on my own. I mean, yeah, I’ve been in love once but look what happened to that.

“When were you planning on telling me?” James asked, combing his fingers through my hair.

“What?” I asked, clueless to what he was talking about.

“When were you planning on telling me?” He asked again.

“Telling you what?” I asked him back.

“That you’re going on tour. That you’re leaving me.” He said blankly.

“I’m-I’m not leaving you. It’s just for a little while and-“

“Little while? Little while, my ass. That’s for five months, Cam.” He said, now standing up from our previous position on the bed.

“Yeah. It’s just for five months. I mean, can’t you wait?” I asked him softly, not wanting to have an argument with him.

“Of course I can wait!” He shouted.

I flinched, “Then I don’t see the problem. James, I-”

“You don’t see the problem? You’re so oblivious aren’t you?” He laughed sarcastically. “You’re gonna be in clubs, Cam! You’re gonna meet other guys! Doesn’t that seem like a problem to you?”

“But it isn’t, okay?” I shouted. What does he think I am? A cheater? “For God’s sake, James! I won’t cheat on you if that’s what you think!”

“And how will I be sure, huh? I’m not there. I won’t see what would happen!” He shouted again, throwing his arms in the air.

“Then you’re just gonna have to trust me. Please, James.” I begged.

“I do! I do trust you, okay?” He said looking down at me.

“Then I don’t see the problem. Why are you getting mad?” I asked him, touching the slight stubble that had grown on his chin.

“Because I wanna be there with you. I don’t want other guys making a move on you.” He said, cupping my face.

“I can’t take you yet. You know that.” I told him, looking into his caramel colored eyes. “This is my first time touring. Maybe if I toured a little longer then I could, but not right now.”
