My Head Says NO but My Heart says Yes

Chapter 4 The Party

We were still in the car and  on our way to the party. I wonder if this party will be lame because of the shit music playing and the popular girls and guys try to get on with one another. Yap this party for me will be a drag, I thought to my self. Jason and I finally arrive at the stupid party he wanted to go to; the house was a little smaller then ours,but not by much.

Jason then says to me" okay Alice I'm going to go hang out with my friends over by the pool. While you go try to mingle. " I then answered back at Jason"Ok, go have fun at this stupid party.

Jason soon walks away and soon I find my self drawn to the couch. I sit their for awhile until I heard someone talking to me. "Hey you with the black hair and the red highlights, kool style dude. I soon jerk my head and turn my body around. It was a teenage girl like me but with black hair and pink highlights. Her style was also like mine.

I soon answer back" thanks, I like your awesome skull shoes; they are epic!

The girl then smiled at me then sat on the coach and soon replied" thanks, and also my name is Miranda."

I then said "well hello,and my name is Alice. "

Then Miranda asked" So did your sibling or siblings bring you to this party??

I soon nodded and replied "Yap, my idiot step brother Jason Hallowell. "

Miranda's eyes started to widen and said " No way, OOOOoOo man I feel bad for you, your brother is the king of all the dush bags.

I then nodded my head and yelled out " I KNOW RIGHT."  

Miranda then said " yah my brother's dragged me along the two... Calhoun twins.

Miranda and I talked for hours; about our favorite bands and art. It was a relief that I actually found someone in this place that is like me and also is the same age as me.

Soon Jason barged in and said to me "Come on Alice we half to go now."

Then Miranda says "do you have a cell phone? " 

I soon replied" yah" 

Miranda smiles and replies" Great! Here is my number; txt me when you get home."  

I then smile and nodded my head and answered" okay."

Jason and I soon got in his car and was on our way home again. I soon sighed and grinned, the party wasn't such a drag after all I found a friend that I am sure she will be my best friend the hole time I'm here. Yap tonight wasn't so bad after all. I grinned and said to my self.
