I can understand now how people in the hospital feel when a handsome young doctor gives them their death time limit. To think, I could be shoveling Doritos in my mouth as I watched friends reruns on my couch at this moment. Instead I was watching this virus in the mirror of some hot guys house, trail down the right side of my body down to my toes.
It looked like my body was rotting off and it was terrifying to watch. Trust me I would be crying and praying for a miracle to happen but it wouldn't do much help. I would still be stuck in the middle of the woods in some alternate reality where ogres try to eat your face.
With a sigh I drop the shirt and exit the bathroom, flopping gracefully on the bed. I screamed into the sheets as I couldn't help but think of all the things I still wanted to do. Pay off my light bill. Beat stupid Neil and win the premonition. Figure out what does the fox really say. Oh and yeah, not die a virgin!
I groaned even louder at the thought flopping on my back only to scream at the face close to mine. He moved back so I could sit up. Mark stood a few paces away with a sheepish look rubbing the back of his neck.
"I thought you were in pain." He chuckled nervously.
My cheeks grew warm before I could help it and a smirk went on his lips. Jerk. I cleared my throat. "No I'm just sitting in despair, in a comfy room, as my death clock tics away."
His face drops all type of happiness as he give me a very serious look, taking my hands in his. " We are trying everything in our power to cure you. We won't let you-"
"Why?" I cut him off too curious to wait for him to finish.
"Because you're my-our mate and we can't live without you." He says in the lightest tone brushing a hair away from my face. I squeeze my thighs together as a shiver runs through my body, staring back in awe. Was this guy insane?
"If you need anything at all don't hesitate to ask princess." Before I could breath again he places a sweet kiss on my forehead. I bit back the moan that wants to leave gripping my legs hard. What the hell was going on with my body? What was he doing to me?
"I-I-" I'm rambling like an idiot in front of this guy as he stares back at me with an expecting gaze. Get yourself together! "Um. Uh. C-cheese." Cheese? Cheese!
He smiles softly and nods before standing up straight. " I'll have Owen bring you a platter. I have much to speak about with my brother. I will be back to fetch you for dinner." He gives me one last lingering look before he shuts the door softly behind him.
I let out the breath I was holding lifting a hand to my face. "But I'm lactose intolerant..." I'm an idiot. This is exactly why I'm dying a virgin.
Moments after Owen, who is a very buff intimidating man that is sweet as pie once you get to know him, had dropped the tray of 50 different cheeses off. I made him chuckle and even made him blush a few times before he said he had to get back to his duties. It had been a few hours after I dumped them in the toilet, since I didn't want them to think I was rude and not eating it, that Owen was the one to return with a pink bag and warm cheeks.
"Alpha Manson sent this for you. Change, so I may bring you down."
I peek inside to see a bra and thong set along with a few black items below. I chuckle, " You act like you've never seen women items before."
He rolls his shoulders back in show of his manliness I'm sure before replying, " I'll have you know I'm familiar with the undergarment of the female."
I stifled a laugh and pats his buff arm before moving to the bathroom. " I'm sure you are, you lovable teddy bear, you." A same giggle coming out.
I hear him grumble under his breath before I close the bathroom door. I shake my head smiling before dumping everything in the bag on the floor. Let's see if the sexed up guy has taste. I lift up the black cloth and frown thinking this guy needs to get his balls kicked in. It was a sack. It was cotton don't get me wrong, but it was shaped like a sack!
