"Meet him, a secure line to meet and save my love" Katsumi says as she points towards Momo. Momo looks behind to see a tall body emerging from the shadows. "My name is Shoto. Shoto Todoroki, the one you rejected from entering the palace gates" Shoto says as he bows slightly and looks up.
Momo was obviously perplexed. "What is he doing here?" She asks, still assimilating the situation. Perhaps she was a bit distracted by the handsome silhouette of the young man under the moonlight.
"You are kind of slow for my confidant, aren't you Yaomomo?" Katsumi says playfully while flicking her sword in the moon light. "I am here to help you find the whole truth behind the situation we are currently trapped in" Shoto further addresses. "I understand that, but how exactly are we going to know the whole truth behind this predicament?" Momo says, looking at Shoto's heterochromatic eyes.
"I feel I have certain things to reveal to you both within the Galilean Castle" Shoto adds. Katsumi's ears perked, "Say what you have to say lover boy" she says. "I am sorry, lover boy?" Momo asks. Shoto looks away embarrassed, knowing he cannot hit Katsumi as she is a princess of a damn kingdom. "OOH! this lover boy here loves Izumi but I beat him to it fair and square, she loves me!" Katsumi says as if she won a fierce competition.
"Loved, I loved her. Not anymore, not romantically" Shoto says, trying to hide his true feelings. "Princess, it's extremely rude to address someone's intimate feelings. I apologize on her behalf" Momo says while bowing down and Shoto stops her from doing so. "It's alright, I did not take the comment to heart" Shoto reasoned and Katsumi smirks and says, "Moving on so soon? lover boy." Momo sighed and Shoto rolled his eyes. "For now, let's move towards Galilee and enter the castle. Evidence of your love lingers in that place and can be used against the wedding" Shoto instructs. "Wait, so we are doing what exactly? Are we preventing the ceremony to begin or ruin it in between?" Momo asks. "There's nothing to ruin" Katsumi scoffs and rolls her eyes.
"Apparently, princess over here took her sweet time to realize something was gravely wrong and we are late to prevent the wedding from happening altogether" Shoto comments. "Not sure how pure your love is for Princess Izumi but it's better than marrying Prince Kosuke" He adds further. "You don't get to question my love" Katsumi says. "Let's not fight anymore, it's not in anyone's best interest" Momo pleads but the two do not pay any heed to her. "It's also better this way when the whole continent sees me announce our relationship" Katsumi argues. "How is that better for anyone? You just create the most useless scenarios to play in your head." Shoto argued back.
"PLEASE stop fighting! We do not need to delay any further due to our differences", Momo advices the two angsty young adults. Both Katsumi and Shoto look at each other and bow in humility. "Let's just cooperate"
Galilee, the market place
The three walked towards the direction of the castle only for Katsumi and Momo to be shocked by the dullness of the usually loud and cheerful atmosphere of the Galilean market. It felt almost unnatural. Katsumi noticed majority shops were closed down. Almost all the houses and shops had a weird type of cloth-doll hanging from their door. It gave an awfully eerie feeling. "Say lover boy, what's up with the creepy dolls?" Katsumi asked. "Protest" Shoto said and kept on walking. "Protest? What for? Care to elaborate!" Katsumi said. "It's a common belief here that marriages are sacred and purely out of love. So when the darling princess of Galilee is somewhat forced into a marriage alliance, they found it better to protest for her sake" Shoto completes explaining. "So its that public? like the whole forced marriage thing?" Katsumi asked.
"It's not portrayed in it's raw form, the people would literally go berserk" Shoto stated. "WOW you galileans are definitely serious in all these matters" Momo spoke.Suddenly a group of people dressed in dark colored robes came in front of the group. Everything covered from head to toe. "What is this....?" Momo asked Shoto as she unsheathes her sword. "Yaomomo~~~You don't recognise us?" The hooded figure raised their hood and revealed Mina Ashido who pouted at Momo. The rest of the hooded figures remove their hoods and revealed themselves to be Katsumi's friend group. A group of young adults that even their own kingdom was fully aware of staying away. Nobody seems to like reckless teens. "Care to elaborate princess?" Shoto asked, slyly coming back at Katsumi. "Oi! What are you guys doing here?!" Katsumi asked. "We knew something was wrong so decided to come here when you were down princess" Eijiro said as he held Mina's hand. Katsumi smiled, although not noticeably but words were spoken. "Congratulations" Katsumi said, wished them luck and hoped the same for herself.
Shoto didn't seem to understand the situation but he definitely felt everybody forgot him until a voice spoke, "Todoroki, these are our friends from Alora: Mina, Eijirou, Denki, and Sero" Yaomomo introduced the group to Shoto. "Hey there dude, cool hair!" Denki said as he put his arm around Shoto's shoulders. A gush of compliments washed Shoto. Although embarrassed he did not know how to get out of such situations. In the past, whenever young girls made a fuss over him and smothered him in compliments and sometimes drowned him in gifts and proposals, it was Izumi who understood his shy nature and took him away from such situations.
There were many reasons for Shoto to fall for Izumi and stay in love with her but understood that the current situation would not allow it. His unreciprocated feelings could end up hurting even Izumi. In order to not get anyone hurt in this situation, he must let go of his desire.
"Guys stop smothering him, can't you see he is uncomfortable?" Momo asked the baku-squad. The group backed away. "Wow aren't you so caring towards him, Yaomomo" Sero said as he raised his arms in surrender. Shoto just sighed in relief and nodded gently at Momo as if thanking her. For the first time, did Momo ever think of him a little differently. Maybe he is not just a rich boy, handsome looks and grave personality.
Suddenly the whole groups sees a man rushing towards them. Shoto recognized the deep blue hair and lightning speed. It was Iida! Well what is he doing here?
"Todoroki!!!" Iida yelled. "Who is he?" Momo asked. Shoto tried to speak, "He is-" but got abruptly interrupted by blondy. "He is Iida Tenya, his brother manages the cavalry horses and whole family is into some defense set ups" Katsumi said. Iida caught up to the crew and panted heavily.
"Todoroki...Uraraka is missing."
