Laura's POV
After 3 weeks
Coltan has been so busy lately and he's been ignoring me. I was sitting in the garden worrying about coltan."hii" said levenia. We have became friends."hey livi how are you?!"i asked her.well she found her mate and my mate is so busy working i'm can't even see him."i'm good how are you?!" She asked i just nodded i'm not fine." You he loves you it's just he has so many things when he became alpha his days of freedom were over he could not leave his work. You do understand him right?!" Said levenia. I just nodded and stood up and left. Understand him?! It's like he's ignoring me like a mean nothing to him at least we could go out at night spend some time together like did everything become so complicated why i.. I was caught out of my thoughts when i bumped into someone. "I'm.. " i started but she cut me off. " you're sorry?! Sorry won't work you have eyes use them ahhh you spilled the juice all over me now i have to go and change watch were you are going. Your so pathetic." She said rudely." Yeah yeah whatever go change" i said then walked away i'm in no mood for her. I walked over to his office and walked in. "Hi colt" i said putting on a fake smile. " hey babe i missed you" he said " yeah me too" i said to him then continued " would you like to get dinner together?!" I asked. " ohh i would love to" i smiled " but i have so many work to finish and i'll finish at 1:00 a.m i'm sorry babe." He said my smile faded. " it's fine" i said then walked out and shut the door . It's not fine.
Coltan's POV
I feel bad. I do miss her so much. But i'm freaking out about all this alpha thing. I don't want to screw everything up. The door was knocked "come in" i said hoping it was laura. "Hi alpha got you so juice." She said oh no not her. " i don't want anything you can leave now." I said. " but i just entered" she said "so what?!" I'm becoming like laura she says so what then i continued " if you have anything you want to say say it then get out i have alot of work" i said. " well while i was walking some girl bumped into me." She said. Maybe it was laura. "Do i look like i care?! No! So get out of my face right now i'm busy with. Things that matter." I said then looked back at the papers in my hand.
Laura's POV
I was in the car with my aunt she was taking me with her to have lunch. We arrived i got out and we entered. I sat down next to my aunt and next to some girl i have no idea who she is. One woman was bragging about her mate. Ugh nobody cares just shut up. "Hi i'm kasha" then we shock hands " i'm laura" i said then i started moving the food in my plate thinking about coltan. "Do you have a mate?!" She asked me . I nodded then she continued " i have one too he's amazing he's an alpha yeah an alpha he puts everything away when i walk in he leaves his work to be with he's an awesome guy." I just gave her a fake smile yeah yeah rub it in my face. " my mate is everything i ever dreamed of he's .." I interrupted her "excuse me i have to leave" i said then stood up and left.
At night
I was trying to sleep but i couldn't i looked at the clock it was 1 so i went downstairs maybe we could hang out a little bit."who is it?!" Coltan asked while i was walking down the stairs. " it's a thief" i said. " well steal quietly i still have work." He said. All he cares about is work. Fine. I went out of the door and slammed it and went to the pack house . I went to dave's room and slept next to him.
