Chapter 22

Coltan's POV
I woke up and went to tracy's room but laura wasn't there . I looked for her all over the house but didn't find her. Maybe she's with dave. So i went to the pack house. I opened dave's bedroom door expecting her to jump in my arms happy to see but she was no where to be found. But her scent was filling the room. "Dave where's mommy?!" I asked him. " mommy she went you know she's a busy busy woman." He said to me. " then why is her scent so strong here?!" I asked him. " she was her like two hours ago. You should get ur nose checked" he said while putting his finger on my nose and taping on it. I heard her laugh. " david she's here i heard her laugh." I said . " what?! No. It's just my alarm." He said then started laughing. I looked around she should be in the bathroom. I started walking over to the bathroom. "No you can't go in there. I just finished my business and man does the smell stink" he said. He really loves her. I opened the door and there she was.
Laura's POV
Dave has been convincing  coltan that i'm not here but he's not believing him. Then the door was opened and there stood coltan. I looked at dave he mouthed to me a "sorry" i just smiled at him then looked at coltan. " why did you leave the house?!" He asked me. " oh now you care?!" I said. " i never stopped caring. And don't talk to me that way." He said. " you care so much that you put your work before me." I said to him. " i didn't  it's hard for me all this alpha stuff it's all new." He said. " always the same thing. You know what i'm done." I said then picked david and went out of the room . "Laura laura ." Coltan said following me. " what do you mean you're done here?! You.. " he was interrupted by someone. " alpha your mating starts in 5 minutes." He said coltan nodded and said to me " this isn't over." He said then left. I shouted " yes it is" . Then went inside. I looked at dave who was freaking out. " ohhh davey i'm sorry don't be afraid." I said to him. " your going to break up?! Are you going to leave me?! You can't go mommy i love you " he said then hugging me. " no baby don't cry i'm not leaving you every couple fights but that doesn't mean that we will stop loving each other. Yeah it's true i said somethings that were harsh it's just that i miss your father so much. We live in the same house but we don't see each other. So don't cry i promise you this is the last fight we are going to make up." I said then hugged him.
After 2 hours
David was asleep and i was flipping through the channels bored. Then the door was opened. " laura" he shouted for me. " i'm here" i shouted back. " before you start we should be careful when we fight david thought everything was over and i was leaving him. When we fight we should make sure he's not around." I said to him. " what's happening to you?!" He asked me. " me?! Well sorry put everything before my mate. I left her alone when she need me. Yeah i'm sorry." I said to him. "Well mates should be calm and understand what the other mate is passing through" he said. " well mates should never make their other mate sad. My father never made my mother cry or made her feel sad" i said to him. "From do you know?! You only lived with them 5 years." He said to me. He's words cut like knifes a tear fall down my face and i run up to tracy's room. I sat on the floor with my head in my hand and started crying. "Laur why are you crying?!" I heard jack's voice. "Jake" i said and run and hugged him. " hey don't be sad i'm here for you." He said. I then moved away a bit. "Laura you know i always loved you i can't stop thinking about you you're on my mind all the time." He said to me. " but i'm with coltan" i said that while taking a step back. Then he came closer. I moved back but he kept on moving forward. I moved back then i hit the wall stupid wall. He then kissed me i pushed him away. Coltan's scent was in the room. Shit coltan saw that. I ran out of the room. "Coltan wait" i said. " just leave me alone. We had a small fight and you ran into another guy's arms. You can go back to him. " he said. " no coltan it's not what it looks like he kissed me." I said. "Laura stop with the lying." He said. Hurtful. I just walked into his room."laura" it was demon. " go away" i said to him. "I'm not" he said. "Just leave me alone for a while " i said then he left. I looked around and saw the keys for coltan's car. I took them and jumped out of the window and went to the garage. I finally found the car got inside of it and took of. I drove to where my mother died and i stopped the car. Why do these things happen to me?! My father wasn't living with me my mother died my mate probably doesn't want to see my face or even hear my name. Everybody that i love i push them away. I should call coltan. No no i'm angry he thought i was lying. I just don't.. My thoughts were cut off when a car bumped my car of the cliff. I didn't feel anything another then the car rolling then it hit the ground. I tried so hard to keep my eyes opened i got the phone and called coltan he picked up " i love you" i said these three words then throw the phone on the ground. The window was broken so i opened the door from the outside. But this is when black took over and i fainted.
