Walking down the hallway I felt my heart exploding. Did I just see what I thought I saw?
When I started at Ouran High school, I was new as a second year transfer. Then I met the host club. However, I was more interested in getting a job then actually being waited on. My hair was short already and I preferred wearing pants. Another reason I stuck out. I went against the everyday fashion status. I didn't see any problem in me being a part of the host club in a sense as Haruhi was already a host. That was 4 months ago.

I had just walked in on Koaya-sempai and Haruhi. I don't know why that hurt so much but it did. I heard Tamaki behind me exclaim as he opened the same door. Everyone knew that he has a huge thing for Haruhi. I walked around confused as to where I was and which room I'm supposed to sleep in tonight. Sighing with relief I finally found my room. I changed into my nightgown and crawled under the covers. Taking off my glasses and setting them on the nightstand. Lightning crashed outside followed by a rumble of thunder. I loved the rain. I stayed up a while watching the water droplets hit the window pane before drifting off to sleep.

The next morning we packed up and left the beach. The incident yesterday on the beach caused us to cut our vacation short. Sitting in the back of the car next to Haruhi I couldn't help but to feel mad at her. What had she been doing with Koaya? I thought. I wasn't the only one thinking that apparently. There was an awkward silence in the front between Tamaki and Koaya also. The twins would not stop commenting on it! Me and Haruhi were getting extremely irritated. Haruhi opened her mouth to yell at them but Koaya spoke before she could.

"There's a hotel that owes a favor to my father up ahead. We're going to stop there for a couple of days since we had to leave the beach early."

Haruhi and I looked at each other surprised. I guess it was alright, tho I wondered what we would be doing the rest of the break.

"Thank you." I said taking the card to my room from the gentleman at the concierge desk. Despite how polite they were I couldn't help but notice the hate filled looks they shot to Koaya's turned form.I was slightly puzzled but could probably understand if I was in their shoes. Me and Haruhi went back to the idling vehicle to get our luggage.

"Hey Haruhi can I talk to you for a moment?" Tamaki asked walking up beside us. Haruhi gave me an exasperated look. I nodded her on.

"Okay"

As they walked off I was left there unloading the rest of the trunk. Koaya-sempai came up behind me and began helping me unload the luggage. The silence between us was overbearing. Glancing over at him I took in a breath. He displayed no emotion. Per usual. Tho it just hurt my heart to see him so cold. His brows were nit as if he were perplexed.

"So..." I said in an attempt to break the ice.

"So? There's nothing to talk about. No reason to waste words when theres nothing interesting to say."

"I'm just trying to make it less awkward!"

"Why should it matter if it's awkward or not? Wherever you are you just end up making a mess!"

"Excuse me I wasn't the one throwing himself all over Haruhi last night."

Koaya was silent. Dang that escalated quickly. I turned and stared at him. Hands on hips prepared to further defend myself.

"Okay then."

I turned and started to ward the front of the hotel.

"Wait.." Koaya grabbed my elbow.

"You don't have to explain yourse-"

His lips crashed into mine catching me off guard. He was aggressively attacking my lips. His arms pulled me closer to him refusing to let me go. I beat on his chest but surrendered as my body betrayed me. His tongue captured mine as he showed me what he was trying to say. Kissing me senseless I could hardly hold my self up. My arms circling his neck. We pulled away breathless.

"I'm not into Haruhi."

"I realized that now."

His smile was faint but I saw it before he pulled me back into a tender kiss.
