Chapter 8 recovery and plan

Emma's P.O.V~

I woke up in my room... at my house... well technically my brothers dorm... how did I get here? Then all the memories came rushing back into my head, causing me a headache. So I scream out in pain, I couldn't think straight.. The only thing that I could think of was... Tao... He saved my life, I would have expected Chanyeol to do that but I guess all heros can't save the girl.... Thats when I hear running coming towards my room..... I remembered all the scars and bruses I had on myself so I took a blanket to cover myself with, to only see that I have no bruses nor scars..... Something seemes wrong. Then the door opened to reveal my savior.. Weird huh, the one who hurt me and caused me pain earlier was the one who protected me... strange....

"Emma! your awake!" Tao exclaimed while I held my head in pain from his loudness... He noticed and came beside me while sitting on my bed. "Oh, you have a headache? I'm sorry. I didn't know. here let me get Lay." Tao finished while getting off my bed and walked outside to fetch my brother...

Lay walked into the room and nealed beside me, "Emma... I'm so.. glad Tao found.... you in time..... I thought I had lost you.... your condition.... was terrible.." He said in between sobs. I felt bad for him, it's not everyday you sister has a near death experience... but what confused me was that, If I was in such bad condition. Why am I not in the hospital? I thought when Lays sudden action surprised me.

"Yes.. very interesting question Emma... well let me explain.." He said while perching himself off the floor and into a chair that was beside my bed.

"Wait.. you can read my mind?" I asked confused by the situation.

"Yes. both of the clans that you know can read minds and with that each of us has a sort of....... ability..... let me explain." He began as my eyes grew... probably wider than D.O's. "Well.. I have the ability to heal.. therefore explaining why you didn't go to the hospital.. Tao's ability is Time Control... I'm glad he used his ability in time... well you can't tell he used it because the events that happen before he uses it seems like they didn't even happen... The man who Tao saved you from killed you... BUT Tao used his ability once he found out to go back and rescue you.." Those words left me in awe. I d-died.... but then again did it ever happen... yes... yes it did... but it was like those events got erased and written again.. "Alright well Luhan has the ability of telepathy, Kris has the ability of flight, Xiumin has the ability of frost, and last of all Chen has the ability of Lightning.." I couldn't believe it... not only can they turn themselves into wolves but they have these........... powers......... Crazy huh......

"Lay...... what is Chanyeol's power?" I asked uneasily. he sighed.

"Fire.. why?" he said

"He's my best friend why shouldn't I know these things....." I said honestly.... truthfully I don't know why I asked that.... Part of me wants to know everything about him..... it's weird.

After that Lay stood up and patted my head.

"Now get some rest. All this information is probably a lot to take in at once. Okay?" He said while I nodded my head signaling him to leave. Once he exited the room I heard talking outside my door. But I could hear it............ clearly........

"Do you know where Emma is?!" A voice said which I could identify as............ Chanyeol..........

"Why would you care?" Another voice said... he sounded lighter than the other...... so that's probably Lay..

"Because I can't find her and I think she has been kidnapped....." Chanyeol said while my eyes grew. He was talking about me....

"Well yes she was and was on the verge of death but Tao saved her from your leader." Lay said.... that was true but not entirely........

"WHAT! no, NO! My leader did NOT do that. He was with me ALL DAY AND NIGHT, So you can't blame HIM!!" Chanyeol seemed angry. I couldn't take it so I got up and rushed to the door to tell them the truth. When I reached the door I quickly opened it to see a worried and mad Chanyeol and a stubborn Lay.

"STOP! Lay you don't know what your talking about! Both of you IN MY ROOM NOW." I yelled while walking in my room. They both were flabbergasted and stood there for a second while I was growing inpatient to say the truth.

Eventually both of them went into my room and closed the door behind them.... Chanyeol came first and hugged me.

"I'm so glad your okay. You don't know how worried my whole clan was when I found out you were kidnapped....." Channie said which melted my heart. Can I never stay mad at him? I thought as I shrugged.

"Okay now let me explain." I said while both took a seat somewhere in my room and looked at me indicating that they were listening. "Alright well yes I was kidnapped but it wasn't Suho. It was someone called Dark Suho. Basically it's the bad side of Suho. What I found out was that everyone one in both of your groups have a bad side of you who is trying to get rid of not only me but all of you as well." I finished as both looked at me with confusion.

"Wait so that means we need to be even more careful?" Lay said while I nodded.

"So does that mean in order to beat them we need to..... team up with their group?" Chanyeol said while pointing at Lay. I nodded again.

"Combining all of your powers together MIGHT be the only way to stop them. I don't think your dark sides
have your powers. I think they just look like you." I said while Lay nodded and Chanyeol looked at me with confusion.

"How do you know about that?" He asked while I giggled.

"You can't hide anything from me." I whispered into his ear as he blushed while putting his head down.

"Oh.. okay" He muttered as I smiled.

"Now we need to plan what we are going to do." I said as Lay looked at me.

"No. Your not doing anything. We will fight them. I don't need you getting hurt...." Lay said as Chanyeol hesitated but finally agreed.

"What! No, I'm not doing Nothing! I refuse!" I said sternly.

"Emma I don't what I'd do if you got hurt again..... please.... for me?" Chanyeol said as I felt my face get hot... I don't know why but I feel something floating around in my stomach...... but what does it mean..... whatever..

I hesitated for a moment then came back to reality. "No. I will do anything I can to help. Please." I begged which I rarely do. He gave looked at Lay as if they were talking to eachother and then he sighed and nodded. I began to smile.

"Fine.... but only on one condition..." Channie said as I looked at him, "You must stay by me at all times.. okay?" He finished as I jumped off my bed and hugged him.

"Thank you thank you!!!" I kept saying as Lay exited the room.

"Thank you Channie..." I said as he looked at me.

"For what should you thank me for?" He asked while I let go of him and looked him straight in the eye while smiling.

"For caring about me so much.." I said as he pulled me on for another hug. This feels right...

But what the two didn't know was someone just outside the door was listening to their conversation while their heart broke into many pieces..................

A/N OMO I'm so sorry I haven't updated in a LONG TIME MIANHAE!! TT^TT... welp I just want to say thank you all for 200+ reads and 20+ votes like seriously that means a lot. That let's me know that you like this story (even if I do update super slow.... ) anyways I'm so excited for this book because I'm already writing the next chapter and trying to fit it out by the end of this weekend.. yay!!
