Emory made his way back downstairs by 6:47, two minutes later than instructed, but this was to be expected, knowing him.

He tugged on the sleeves of the navy blue blazer, already uncomfortable even though it had been no more than ten minutes. The only thing he was somewhat grateful for was the fact that he wasn't being forced to wear a tie of such a feminine color.

Instead, Red had listened to his requests for once and fetched him a tie matching the color of the rest of his outfit.

Red had a somewhat inverted version of Emory's attire, wearing a navy blue undershirt; however, his blazer, tie, dress pants, and shoes all consisted of black--even the new silicone ring on his finger. His hair was slicked back neatly, not a single strand out of place.

Meanwhile, Emory's was slightly more tamed than before, still far from perfect.

"Do I look presentable enough for you?" Emory scoffed, watching as Red approached and began doing his tie for him, as he still hadn't learned how to correctly put one on.

"Presentable? Not quite," He paused as he secured the tie in place, glancing up to hold eye contact momentarily. "Handsome? Definitely."

Emory just shook his head slightly and stepped away, dropping his head down as he adjusted the tie to fit more to his liking. "Stop doing that shit."

"Doing what?"

"You know what," He grumbled, quickly changing the topic after that. "When are we leaving? I'd rather get this over with."

"My personal driver should be here now. We'll discuss the ground rules for the party in the car," Red responded as he began to move toward the front door, glancing over his shoulder briefly to ensure Emory was following.

As they made their way outside, Emory was able to see a black limo parked halfway down the driveway. "Why do we need a limo for two people? Isn't that a bit over the top?"

"I like to leave a good first impression." He shrugged, leading Emory over before stopping in front of the door and opening it for him, gesturing with his hand for him to step inside. "After you,"

The interior was remarkably clean, with black leather seats along the right side of the car, and a small bar opposite them that had bottles of champagne sitting in the cup holders, various other selections most likely being in the cooler. Purple LED lights lined the ceiling, giving a vibrant illumination to the car.

After analyzing the inside, Emory sat down in the seat closest to the door and watched as Red stepped in behind him, taking the liberty of sitting directly next to him, their legs grazing one another slightly.

At the sudden contact, Emory pulled his leg away slightly, clearing his throat as he shifted against the backrest of the carseat as he smoothed his pant legs with his hands.

"So," Red started, breaking the silence as he crossed one leg over the other, turning his head to stare fully at Emory. "obviously, you'll be acting as my fiancé for the night. I would appreciate it if you'd play the part well. Now, we don't have to act overly intimate, but there will have to be some level of closeness. If I put my hands on you, I don't want you pulling away. Are we clear on that?"

"So, what, like, holding hands?" Emory questioned, giving Red a once-over as he may or may not have subconsciously checked him out. "I can hold your hand for 50k."

"Very well. With that being said, we don't need attention drawn to us either. My goal is to get close to my target in a natural, easy-going type of way, and then coax him into dropping some key information. If we were to get unwanted eyes on us, that'll be much harder to do. Understand?"
