Once I get home I walk past my dad who, yes, is once again sitting in a lounge chair watching T.V. I walk to my room and pull out my phone. I immediately text Noah.

"3079 Ballaway st." I text and send.

I look at the clock and it reads "3:07" I decide to take a nap since I'll be staying up so late. I set a timer for 10:00 p.m. So I'll have a little less than an hour to do whatever I need to do. I crawl into bed and soon fall asleep.

•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••

I wake up to the sound of my alarm going off. I get out of bed and carefully walk towards my dad's room.  I peek in and hear him snoring, which kind of sounds like a lawn mower. I slowly shut the door and walk down the hallway to James's room. I open the door to find a little 7 year old cuddled up by his tiger stuffed animal and a night light on.

I get back to my room and decide to touch up the now smudged makeup from my sleep. I remove the makeup from this morning and check to see how bad my bruise is. I realize it's gotten no better and decide to do the same makeup routine that I did this morning.

Once I finish my eyeliner I go over to my full body mirror and look at my clothing. I decide to change since I figured it would be a little cooler at night. I change into a plain black, long sleeve shirt. And some black leggings. I tie a red and black plaid shirt around my waist and throw on my combat boots.

I check my phone and see multiple notifications from Facebook, Snapchat, Instagram, etc. I scroll down the notifications to find 5 new messages from Noah.

"Okay thanks for the address."

"Text me once your dads asleep."

"You still alive? Lol."

"Helllloooooo.... Should I still be coming at 10:50?"

"Is uh... Everything okay?"

I quickly message him back.

"Hey! I'm sorry I fell asleep. My dad is in bed snoring his head off. We're still on for 10:50 tonight it's all okay lol."

As I start to hit send I hear a knock on my window. I look at the time and it reads "10:55" I hear another slight knock so I push open my window.

" Why hello, Grace. Are you ready?" Noah whispers, sticking half of his body through the window.

"Yes." I smile and climb through the window.
