After a while of being awkwardly quiet he tries to make conversation.

"Hey so you never did respond to my letter in chemistry, I think you were too busy reciting the periodic table." He says laughing.

"Ha. Ha. Very funny Noah." I say looking at him with a serious face. "How would you be making up hitting me in the face with a door, sir." I say in the most sarcastic way possible.

"Well  I could always take you out, foods always a good thing." he says, which I most definitely agree.

" Hmm, is the new boy asking me out on a date?" I say giggling and soon realizing that might be what he's doing. I get quiet and start to heavily blush. I look over at him to see he is burning red.

"Well no, unless that's what you want." He says.

"Deal." I say. I look at my surroundings and see my stop is near. I look over at Noah and see him ruffling through his book bag and pulls out a paper and pencil. He quickly scribbles down a couple of numbers and signs it off with his initials.

"Just text me whenever." He says staring at the wound on my hand.

I get off of the bus and walk into my house to see the usual. My dad on the couch watching pointless T.V. and a little brother who was already at school when I woke up this morning.

"Why're you so red, Grace." My 7 year old maggot says staring me in the eye.

"Why're you so nosey, James." I say glaring at his stupid puppy green eyes.

I walk into my room and lock the door so no annoying pests will walk in. I drop my book bag by my door and throw myself onto my bed. I pull out my phone and add Noah as a contact.

For the next 30 minutes I battle myself trying to figure out if it would be too clingy if I text him today or if I should wait until tomorrow.  I decide to go ahead and message him but keep it short.

"Hey Noah, it's Grace. I just wanted you to have my number." I type and send.

I realize I'm clingy and scream in my pillow for it.
