Lexi's Pov:
"Nothing. You should go," I said. And with that Matt left. I sighed and decided to go to bed. The next day it was the 4th of July which meant today was the parade. I didn't really enjoy it but my aunt was making me go. She said she'd pick me up in 10 minutes so I quickly got ready. What to wear what to wear? I decided on my high waisted shorts and an American flag tank top. Honk! I quickly ran down stairs to find my aunt waiting in the driveway. "Get in the car Shorty," my aunt laughed. I laughed and quickly got in the car. On the way to the parade I decided to text Matthew and see if he wanted to go. But he didn't text back. My aunt pulled into the cemetery and we took a seat on the rocks next to are family and friends. We sat there for about 20 minutes intill the parade started. "Lexi," I heard someone say from behind me. "Matthew?"
