Sorry I haven't updated in a while! I had no idea that people would actually like this story!

Charm hadn't seen nor heard from Jimmy (thank god) or Johnny in a few weeks. She occasionally pondered if they were related somehow, or one was just mimicking the other. Johnny's hair had a blue tint to it while Jimmy had jet black. They both dressed pretty much the same, though their facial features were extremely different.
The many thoughts on the two flooded her mind, making her unfocused when she needed to be.
Within the few weeks, charm had managed to get a job at a Chinese take out restaurant. They worked her to the bone, and her anxiety didn't help when it came to rude customers.
It had been a long day working, Lunch hour was almost over and she got a good two hour break before she had to be back for dinner. Charm paid for some food and bagged it up before heading out the front door walking home.
A strange feeling ran through her gut as she approached her apartment. Jimmy was there, sitting on her car with two other guys standing near him. One of them being Johnny.
"Neighbor!" Jimmy frantically waved his hand and slid off the car, making his way towards her. Her heart pounded, she wasn't sure what he wanted. She clutched her bag to her chest as he ran up and began to walk beside her. "I haven't seen you in a while Charm!" There's the linger. "You must have been hiding from me!" He had no idea.
Johnny's eyes seemed to light up as she walked closer to her car. The other boy was smiling softly, almost sincerely. His eyes hidden by the glare of glasses.
"Edgar," Jimmy pointed to the glasses boy. "Johnny, I want you to meet my new neighbor." Jimmy placed his arm around her shoulders as he emphasized ''my", making her feel extremely uncomfortable.
"Hello Charm." Johnny waved lightly. Charm just smiled awkwardly and attempted to shrug off Jimmy's arm. He tightened his grip.
"Wait, I never told you her name. How do you know her, Nny?"
"I um, ran him over with my car a few weeks ago." Charm leaned to the opposite side of Jimmy, avoiding the closeness of his face as he looked at her. His breath smelled like freshly digested Chipotle.
Jimmy glared at Johnny after she finished her statement and he nodded to agree.
Jimmy opened his mouth to say something but Edgar beat him to it.
"Say, Charm, I see you were just about to enjoy lunch, am I correct?" Charm nodded. "Why don't you join us back at Nny's place? I haven't eaten yet, I don't think Nny has either, maybe we can all eat together?" Edgar approached her and Jimmy while talking and gently pulled her away from his grasp, almost as if he sensed her discomfort.
"That sounds like fun, Edgar." She smiled at him and he smiled back. Edgar didn't once give off a creepy or scary vibe. He was the only one out of the three who wore a religious symbol around his neck. Normally Charm didn't trust those with crosses, but Edgar felt very warm and inviting to her.
She decided to stick to him as much as possible.

~~~Johnny~~~
The four met back at his shitty little home. Charm stuck to Edgar like glue, most likely to keep Jimmy away. Edgar and Jimmy were close friends somehow, but Ed always knew what was going through Jimmy's mind and if there were a female around, he would be sure to keep them as far away from Jimmy as possible.
Edgar was just a warm hug. He was the first person Nny willingly befriended.
Charm and Ed sat on his couch while Jimmy sat on the floor from a distance. Nny took it upon himself to fetch a few bags of chips and fizz-wizz from the kitchen.
Charm nibbled on her food while talking with Edgar about a few books she's read.
Nny felt a twinge of jealousy and instantly wanted to puke. He hated the thought of relationships, but Charms presence made him feel things that he didn't need nor wanted.
"Edgar, can I talk to you for a second?" Nny made his way to the basement door and began scaling the stairs down. Edgar said something to charm before standing and following him.
~~~Charm~~~
Edgar left the room and her comfort level hit the floor like a rock. She so desperately wanted to jump up and follow them, or beg Edgar to stay. She may have just met him but she would take him alone in a room over Jimmy any day.  Charm sat with her legs crossed, staring at the floor, trying her hardest not to make any sort of eye contact with The lanky boy across the room.
"So Charm, do you live by yourself?" He broke the silence. She wasn't sure about answering that.
"Um....yeah...." She almost whispered.
"Do you have any pets? Like a bird or a dog? Because remember, I said I had a snake. He's an 11 foot long Python named Dracula. Do you like snakes? Do you like big or small snakes? I bet you like the big ones, don't you? Well, my snake is huge! You should come see it sometime." He rambled on, making strange jokes every so often. She sat trembling and silent. He jumped from the floor and sat beside her, close enough that their legs were touching, still going on about snakes.

~~~Johnny~~~
"Edgar I don't know what's going on with me. I just met that damn girl and every time I'm near her my body freaks out and I want to puke!"
"Nny, I think you have a crush on her." Edgar crossed his arms and chuckled.
Nny didn't think it was so funny. "Edgar, I just met her. I can't like her. It's just weird. I mean, I knew Devi for a good few months before I started liking her! It's wrong. I don't even like romance!" Edgar chuckled more, and it was beginning to piss Nny off. He removed a blade from a table off to the side and held it up to Edgars throat.
"Cease your laughing! It's not funny and I'm growing tired of it! If you're not going to help me I'll slice you in half now just to shut you up for a good hour!" He stopped laughing, but his smile stayed.
"Johnny...I'm a writer, and this may seem like a stupid statement, and you may not want to hear it, but there is a thing such as love at first sight. Your palms sweat, your heart races, anyone that even lays a finger on her makes you jealous, the mere mention of her name makes your knees weak." Nny lowered his blade as Edgar continued on. "Johnny you're in love."
"Fuck you."
~~~Charm~~~
Jimmy had laid his head on her lap, chattering on about how his snake ate a beaver once. Instead of being afraid of him, she was more getting annoyed by him. Charm wished Edgar would come back and give her sanctuary.
As if the Angels heard her prayer, the basement door opened and Edgar strolled out humming a tune.
"Johnny is going to be with himself for a while. Charm, I'm sure you have to go back to work some time soon, right? I'll walk you." He shooed Jimmy away and told him to go home.

They walked together in silence for a good while before Charms curiosity finally got to her.
"Is Johnny alright?" She wondered out loud.
"Worried about him?" Edgar smiled and raised a brow.
"Well...I did run him over with my car...."
Edgar chuckled, "Dont worry love, it would take more than a car to stop that boy. But It's okay to be worried Charm. I understand. I'm a writer and a reader, I love stories and I don't care if two people have just met and one worries about the other. It's a characteristic that you were blessed with. Being worried about someone who deserves it is an amazing trait to have." Charm smiled at her feet. "But, yes, Nny is alright, he just needs some time to figure things out before he throws himself into a huge mess he might not be able to get out of easily. Don't worry though, you didn't do anything bad."
