Extra 2: Aoi Kanzaki

Never in the history of being a nurse at the butterfly house had Aoi been more frustrated. These. Idiots. They were almost as bad as the Hashira! Zenitsu wouldn't stop crying every time she entered the room with medicine.

The one time she asked Shinobu to do it? He passed out in Fear. He wasn't even that injured! His injury was worse after the incident at the mountain, but no! Even with the most minor injuries of the slayers who were there at the Mugen train incident, Zenitsu still found a way to be stupidly hard to deal with. his medicine was the lightest dose, it didn't even taste that bad! And dont even get Aoi started on how he chases around the demon girl and the butterfly girls! Ugh!

Then there was the boar-headed one. He was fine with the medicine, he just refused to stay still! Sometimes when she came into his room to dress Inosuke's wounds, he was on the ceiling! She had to agree to train with him before he would come down! What a complete and utter hassle! Though, training with him was.. a little bit fun. It was nice to go through old water breathing forms she had nearly forgotten.

Aoi valued her time, and nothing made her more frustrated than slayers taking up more time than necessary to recover because of their stubbornness and stupidity. The two worst cases she'd seen in a long time were Tanjiro Kamado and Masaru Yurei. These. Two. Boys. While both of them were fine in temperament, every time they were in here for worse wounds! The Kamado boy At least had the sense to apologize, but then he went off running to the flame Hashira's house! Yurei was on a whole other level of annoying. His lack of self-care led to him bleeding through so many bandages. So. Many. No one else ran her through 5 rolls but this guy!

Still.. It was hard to stay mad at them. Kanao was clearly crushing on the Kamado boy, and trained with Masaru, so she knew they weren't horrible people. She had some admiration for them as well.

Aoi was a coward, through and through. When her sensei found her, she was hiding from a demon—and even now, nothing's changed. She's still afraid of death, afraid of fighting. And although Aoi Kanzaki was a coward, she was not a quitter. If she was too afraid to really fight, that was fine. She had dedicated the past two years to working on helping others. She could make sure idiots like Masaru and Tanjiro and Zenitsu and Inosuke didn't die stupid deaths and healed up alright.

She could make sure heroes like Rengoku could rest easy and have a real chance of recovery. That was enough.

It was late at night, perhaps a little too late to still be working, but Kiyo had the morning shift so It was fine. She was just going around and reorganizing some of the stuff when she noticed someone peeking over the fence. How rude! She couldn't make them out but it was probably one of those curious kids from the nearby village.

"Hey! Get out of here! This Is a hospital, We're busy! Get! Out!" She grabbed a broom and swung forwards. She heard crying and rush info off. What a weirdo...

Muzan stood in front of Hantengu with a blustering glare. "So you're telling me, that instead of figuring out the hospital was, say, full of blue spider lilies, or run by demon slayers, or even its exact location, you were scared away by a scary looking woman with a broom?"

Hantengu nodded. "It's not my fault! T-the lady was scary and she yelled very loudly! I wasn't expecting it!" He cowered in front of the Demon King, who was completely unimpressed.

"Are. You. Serious?" He pinched his brow before kicking Hantengu to the side. He still wasn't any closer to finding the boy who looked like him or that man's descendant, and now he couldn't even confirm a possible location of the demon slayer corp because his uppermoon had been thwarted by, from the man's recollection, some 16 year old girl with pigtails and a broom! Unbelievable.

Muzan needed new uppermoons, this was getting embarrassing.
