Lauren had put on a movie in the living room. Our legs were covered with blankets and I was so close to Lauren that every little move she made, I could feel. Every little mumble under her breath that she said could be heard by me.

Yeah, we were that close.

"Ha, Frozone is always the funny type, too bad he's so cold." Lauren commented and I gave out a small laugh.

Lauren looked towards me and I looked towards her way, meeting her eyes.

"You don't talk much during movies, do you?" Lauren asked and I shrugged.

"Don't worry, I guess you were expecting us to do something else then talking. Right?" Lauren winked and the air from my mouth escaped my lips as I gazed at Lauren.

"Kidding, baby." Lauren tightened her hold on me and her gaze directed back towards the TV.

My phone started to vibrate and I quickly checked it to see that a bank was being robbed right now. I fought the urge to get up right then and there and take care of the problem.

I sat right there and shifted slightly before turning my phone off and putting it back down on the floor besides me.

I waited for Lauren to make any kind of move but she didn't do anything besides watch the movie. Her phone started to ring and I waited for her to pick it up.

Lauren sat up and grabbed her phone, answering it.

"Hello?" Lauren had a concerned tone.

"Where did I leave it? It should be in my drawer. The one in your office. Where else?" Lauren's tone changed to an aggravated one.

"Cool. I told you I was hanging out with someone today and that I'm sure you wouldn't need it, call me later." Lauren said before hanging up. I wondered if it was ski mask guy..

"Sorry, my dad called. He just wanted to know where I put the ink pens. I used them when I was in his office and accidentally forgot to put it back in his drawer." OH. Her dad. I was way off on that guess.

"Office? Who does he work for? And your drawer and his drawer? Do you two share an office?" I asked curiously.

"Actually...he owns the building. Jauregui Corp is the business. He expects me to take charge but he's been having financial problems so he wants me to help him make sure they stop. And yes, it'll be my office once he retires." Lauren smiled.

Jauregui Corp was such a big business, I've seen their company on many newspapers and even on TV. But financial problems? That's...surprising.

"Must be fun being assistant manager then, huh?" I asked.

"Definitely. I scored Normani and Ally a job there, that's where Ally is currently at right now." Lauren explained.

"That's pretty good, it's a set life. What does your mom do?"

"She's a stay at home mom since I have two other younger siblings, she watches them and my dad makes enough money. Now enough about me though. What about you? Do you work anywhere?" Lauren asked.

"My mom owns a pizza place, Cabello's pizza, I work there. I start in a couple days actually." I said and Lauren gave me a smile.

"That's cute. That's lucky, your pizza place is pretty successful too. I would know since I always see people calling for Cabello's pizza."

"Yeah, it's doing fantastic. My mom and dad both love making pizza together, it works out well. Even my little sister likes to hang around in the back sometimes." I commented.
