I ran to my room as I heard my phone ring, devin, my boyfriend of 1 year, is calling.

I answered it.

"Hello" I smiled, even tho he couldn't see me.

"Hey babe"

"Hey, I missed you"

"I miss you too! But I have good news"

"And that is?"

"Open your front door" he said in a happy tone.

I walked over to my apartment door and opened it.

"Dev!" I yelled and jumped into his arms

"Baby girl" he said and held me up as he spun around

Devin visits me every so often, his parents didn't want him to move until he had enough money.

"I miss you so much, how long has it been since you visit?"

"I don't know, like a couple months but I missed you too"

"A couple months way too much, I wished you lived closer" I said getting sad

"Me too baby girl, I hate living in all the way in London, but I'm glad I can always visit"

we didn't met online if that's what you were thinking, one of my friends actually set us up, she was dating daniel, devins friend, then we start talking and dated ever since.

He was living here in California before, his parents then moved to London and since he was young he had to move too, but we never broke up, we promised each other that long distance would work, so his mom suggested that every once in a while he visits me.

I'm so glad we met, he's one of the most important people in my life and I don't know what I would do if I lost him, hell I'll probably lose myself.

"I'm glad I met you too baby, and I would never you leave you, you mean so much to me" he said

I looked at him confused,

"Did I say that out loud?"

"Yes, now come let's cuddle I miss our cuddles" he smiled

"Ok"

We walked to my room, I put in a movie before laying down next to dev.

"love you baby girl" he kissed my head

"I love you too" I said and slowly drifted of to sleep.
