One
(Elisa's POV)
I could feel the sun's rays piercing into my eyes. I didn't want to get up, I wanted to stay in bed. I propped myself up, and turned to look at the clock. 11:00am.
Not too late.
I remained sat in the same position for a few minutes, before dragging my duvet off my knees and slipping out of bed. I yawned fiercly, and turned to look in the mirror, when I noticed my forehead was bleeding. It wasn't heavy, just a little papercut-like thing. I shrugged it off, and decided it was probably my nail during the night.
I grabbed my towel and some fresh clothes before I headed into the bathroom. I was feeling lazy, so I decided to only wash my hair.
After that, I proceeded to change into my chosen day clothes; a cream, silky blouse and brown skinny jeans. I pulled them on, wrapped my hair in the towel, and went down the hallway.
After reaching the kitchen door, I remembered I was trying to diet. 'But I'm so hungry..' my brain said to me. 'No. You're fat enough as it is. You have enough fat on you to feed a village, for christ's sake!' I squeal at my own insult. Then agreed with myself to skip breakfast altogether.
At that point I told myself I could live without food, removed the towel from my head and walked out the apartment door. Where I was going, I wasn't at the time too sure of. I was just going somewhere. And that somewhere appeared to be the deer park that was near home.
As I approached some timid animals, I waved at them and held out some leaves I'd collected on my way through the woodland. They seemed happy enough to let me do the finding, so long as they did the eating.
Around half an hour later, I took my phone from my pocket, and checked the time. I was still okay time-wise. As I replaced my phone in my pocket I noticed a strangely familiar figure walk by me. I recognised her figure, slim, yet not skinny. And the short hair. I squealed before realising a passing by group glaring at me with an appalled look on their face. I had failed to notice I wasn't just squealing, I was cursing under my breath. But why? I couldn't remember who she was.. I turned an appropriate shade of magenta as I stormed in this woman's direction.
As I got closer, I could see her in more detail. She looked around twenty five, with pale skin and dark eyes with rings under them. She looked as if she'd missed several nights of sleep..
I also noticed she had grey hair. That was strange. She looked too young for it to be natural, yet who in their right mind would go grey before they had to? I stood there, staring at her, and noticed her glistening dark eyes piercing through me. She seemed.. strange. As if she had no soul.
She turned and looked towards the gate, and I noticed what she was planning. To run. I headed in her direction as she started running to the gate, picking up speed as she went. I screeched a word which I thought appropriate in her direction, and sprinted after her.
I'd just caught up with her and grabbed her shoulder, when someone tapped my back. I instantly let go of the lady's shoulder, allowing her to make her escape.
'Hey wait! You! Back here! I'M NOT DONE WITH YOU!' I screamed at her back. She'd got away.
I turned on my heel to look at the person who'd stopped me from catching her. I'd done a 180° turn, and realised how closed I was to them.
I gasped silently, as the boy just laughed back at me. He looked slightly older than me, twenty maybe, and had messy brown hair. He had a sort of side fringe, which suited him well. His eyes were a chocolate brown colour , and I also noticed a dimple as he laughed. Damn, he was cute.
