Two

I was running towards the elevator, literally sprinting to those hard metal doors. This was for two reasons. One, I realised I was late home. Bianca had asked me to help her dye her hair, as she wasn't sure how it worked. And two, the doors were closing, and there was nobody inside to stop them.

I slid through the doors, punching the air. I was happy that I'd managed it, I don't usually, they just end up closing on me. I pressed the button that said '3' and stood there, waiting for that stupidly annoying voice to echo around the lift.

'Going Up,' the elevator said. I'd never felt more like punching the wall, and waiting to see if she said anything. Of course, that was stupid, because it wouldn't say anything back to me. I just wanted it to scream, or cry, or something. The voice really annoyed me.

We arrived at my floor at last, and I stumbled out, tripping on the bottom of the door. The annoying lift voice sounded amused when it said 'Going Down', so it really must be evil.

That or I'm crazy..

Anyway, I set off down the corridor, until I reached apartment 32c. I fumbled about in my bag, trying to find my set of keys. Then the door swung open, revealing a rather unamused Bianca.

'YOU SAID YOU'D BE BACK BY SEVEN, MISS THE-WORLD-REVOLVES-AROUND-ME! THANKS FOR KEEPING YOUR PROMISE!' she spat in my face. I just stood there, wanting to slap her so very badly. And that's just what I did.

'YOU DECEITFUL, LYING, CRUEL BITC- ow!' she squeaked. Her eyes showed nothing but resent for me. The joy.

'I am not deceitful, lying, or cruel, however you can judge if I'm a bitch. I don't really think I am, I mean, I chose to help youin the first place. As for 'the-world-revolves-around-me, well, I'm sorry for staying our 30 minutes longer than I was supposed to mum, but I was actually enjoying a nice conversation with Dan Howell. Yes, him,' I confirm, seeing the look on her face. '..so kindly stop calling me shit. I offered to help you. And now, I don't. Good night.' I say, brushing past her, and heading to my room. I took one last glance at her, and notice she's still staring through the door at where I was. She turns away, and I rotate my neck back and continue walking.

'Y-you.. met Dan?' she said quietly, obviously dripping with jealousy. Or was it envy? I couldn't tell, she always looked like one of them.

'Yes, I did. I have his number, so if you'll excuse me, I'm going to go and text him,' I lied.I wasn't going to text him, I wanted him to text me first, or I'd feel pushy and unwanted. But I lied knowing she'd be even more jealous. Or envious. Whichever.

'Givemehisnumber,' she said all at once.

'What? No! He met me, and asked for my number. I gave it to him, and we talked for a few minutes before I headed down to the town to meet Becca and Florence.' I told her. When I mentioned Becca and Florence her face lightened up and said..

'Oh, how are they? We should all go to the cinema tomorrow!' she squealed happily. This was the Bianca I liked.

I shrugged and said 'I guess, they're staying around here for a week or so, so yeah. Let's.' I returned to her. I then went into my bedroom and turned on my laptop, while kicking off my shoes. God, they were hurting me.

Then I feel a vibration against my leg. A text! I pullit out of my pocket and not bothering to check who it is slide my finger across the screen to answer it.

'Hello?'

'Hey! This is Elisa, right?' Ohmygod it's Dan.

'Uh y-y-eah. Hi Dan,' I reply, obviously nervous and shaky. He laughs.
