Naruto's Pov

The next day.

We were jumping from tree to tree. I observed how the leaves were drifting with the wind, how the trees danced with a rhythm only they can hear, how the wind blows on my face, slowly caressing my tanned skin. It was such a vivid feeling, it gave me such peace of mind. Oh the wonders of nature! Such beauty all around me, it made me smile.

Then I drifted my attention to my girlfriend. Yeah, she's now my girlfriend. Even just the though of it made me smile. She was the one who made me complete. She accepted my flaws and imperfections. She loved me from start to finish.

It may sound cheesy, but...

I vow to never love anybody else but her. I will never lie to her. I will never let her go, neither leave her side. I promise so I will keep it.

I looked at her once again. I was mesmerized. The way her hair moves in the wind, her touch can melt any cold heart away, the way she smiles can light up the darkness in my life, and her perfect lavander orbs where I can get lost forever. I just love her with every fiber of my being.

We continued zipping through the forest when Shikamaru halted meaning it was a break.

We found ouselves somewhere to settle and made ourselves comfortable. We took out sone reserved water and a few food pills. I saw Hinata happily chatting with Sakura and Hanabi, grinning and laughing ravishingly.

Sai was talking to Shikamaru, while they were having their conversation I aproached them.

Shikamaru when do you think we would reach the leaf? Sai asked then resumed drinking.

We might be home tommorow by noon if we can fly on those birds of yours. Right? I say approaching them.
Though it will be troublesome right Shikamaru? I continued.

Yeah, your right Naruto. Why did'nt I think of that before?

Sai said with his fingers ribbing his chin.

Well 1st. You're still tired. 2nd Shikamaru did'nt remember due to a headache. I said with a grin.

Oh and so you seem to remember to the fact that your calm because of your girlfriend.

Shikamaru stated with a grin. I blushed at what he said.

So we won't be stopping at Suna? I asked Shikamaru with a teasing grin.

Don't change the subject. Shikamaru said giving me a talk-more-and-i'll-shred-you-to-pieces glare. And that alone can make me stop.

After a staring contest, I leaned in a tree. I stared up at the clear blue sky. It seemed rather peaceful today. I saw two blue birds pass by. They were having fun. I thought. Then suddenly Hanabi started to aproach me.

Oh Hanabi sama? I adressed her.

Oh no need for for the sama Naruto san. She replied while sitting down next to me.

Ok but drop the san. I said to her. I mean really, Naruto san does not fit me.

Ok. She complied with a closed eyed smile.

I just gave her a that's-much-better smile as a reply.

So... uhm... are the sounds that escaped from Hanabi's mouth.
I thank you for saving me and my sister. And thank you after a long time, you eventually loved my sister too. She said with a bowed head.

I lifted her head up and said...
You know, it's really fine. I should actually be saying sorry for being a dense baka before. And for saving the both of you... well that's a deed that I tend to keep till my last breath.

Well that was really true. I would never do anything to disapiont Hinata. And now even Hanabi, for she is Hinata's sister. And I will do everything to make myself worthy.

Thank you, Nii san. She said and she pecked my cheek.

You welcome Hanabi chan. I replied and ruffled her hair.

I glanced away and saw Hinata looking at us, smiling.
