The day after Tomorrow

Naruto's POV

"You can go home now." Tsunade obaasan said.

"Hai. Arigato for everything." I say getting out of the room with Hinata hand-in-hand. Once we were out of the hospital I turn my head facing Hinata chan.

"Thanks for everything Hinata chan. You can go rest now. I can take you home if you wish." I say still holding her hand.

"Ok. But do you mind if I rest with you, at, uhmm... wherever you are going though." She says smiling. Her smile is so sublte that it's hard to resist.

"Yes you may. And thank you milady for acompanying me this fine morning." I say positioning the back my hand on my back.

"It is my pleasure my good sir. And off we walk in this fine day." Then she yanked her arm around mine, playing along with me. We both laugh as we started to walk.

I feel the people look at us as we walk around town. I noticed Hinata looks uncomfortable. I guess she just isn't used to get this kind of attention. Well sure it's normal, but with people who stick around with me would always get looks from others. Then she loosened her clutch. I put it back to it's original place then she looked at me.

"You know Hinata, don't mind them. There just not used to see this *looking at Hinata* everyday." I say to make her comfortable, at least a little.

"Ok Naru kun." She says tightening her grip more.

We pass by Ichiraku's. I swear, the time we passed by my stomach growled, enough foe Hinata to hear. She chuckled then started to pull me inside.

"I know you are hungry. And I guess your stomach says so too." Then we took our seats. I put my bag on the empty chair beside me.

"Oi Naruto your already out? I heard you in the Hospital." Old man Teuchi said.

"Well I was discharged this morning." I say wraping my arms around Hinata who was taken by surprise.

"I see. I can also see you brought your girlfriend." Old man Teuchi teased.

"Yeah. This is my girlfriend, the one and only Hinata Hyuga." I say tightening my grip and looked at my girlfriend. She just blushed and smiled and held my hand on her shoulder.

"My, my, about time you had a girlfriend Naruto. Especially Hinata." He says as Ayame comes out of the kitchen.

"What do you mean?" I say playing innocent though I perfectly know.

"Nice try." She replies smiling sarcastically.

After the ramen we went staight to my apartment. We came there at around 12:51.

Hinata sat on the couch and I went to my room to put away the contents of my mission bag and to change clothes.

After I changed clothes I went to the living room and saw Hinata lool at some picture frames atop of a table the right side of the room. There were 4 pictures. One was my pictire with team 7 that miraculously survived. There was also a picture of my parents when my mom was pregnant with me.

A picture of a picture of me at Ichiraku's old man Teuchi got for me was also present. And the last picture was me and Hinata Sakura secretly snapped. In the picture we were talking, I was laughing and Hinata was obviously blushing.

"Hey." I say approaching her.

"You don't have many pictures do you." She observed.

"The others were destroyed when Pein attacked." I confessed.

"Uhm.. Ok." She replies.

"Come I'll show you something in my room." I blurted out. We headed to my room and she saw many boxes of gifts.

"So many admires too." She says sitting on the bed and picking up one box.

"Let them be. They won't interest me now. I have you." I say sitting beside her and kiss her cheek.

"So wanna open them with me." I say getting one too.

"Are you sure?"

"Positive!" I say as I pinched her cheeks.

"Ouch! Not funny." She says pouting and rubbing her cheeks

then she picked up the gift on her lap, and forwarded it to show me like saying, 'can I open this?'. And I noded in approval.

We opened the presents together. By all I collected 10 bonets of different colors and sizes, 3 scarves, 5 shirts, dozens of instant ramen cups, I also got a bunny and kyuubi plushie.

"Wow! What a cute bunnie plushie." Hinata chan says holding it up in the air.

"Really?" I ask holding my kyuubi plushie. She just noded in agreement.

"So i'll be naming it Usagi-hime. What do you say?" I ask.

"Fine." Then she paused. "Where do you think that Kyuubi plushie came from?"

"By a random fangirl I guess."

"Yeah,,,right." She says in a sarcastic tone.

I just smiled in response. After opening the gifts we cleaned the room a bit though I told Hinata not to. But she insisted.

Later I looked at the clock. It was past four in the afternoon.

"Hinata you wanna go home now?" I say standing up.

"Will you be fine though?" She asks concerned.

"Yeah. So i'll be taking you to the complex."

"That would be lovely." She says as they made their way to the door.

Once they were in front of the complex Naruto turned to Hinata.

"Good night my fair love. I shall once meet you again when the dawn breaks at the place where heroes are forged grounding at seven." I say taking her palm and kissing it.

"Much to my pleasure fair knight! We shall meet and discover the hidden talents an individual is to discover." She says pulling back her hand. Then we giggled at our foolishness. I kissed Hinata's forhead and said 'good night' and went home.

Yes I know this chapter is short and there isn't much fluff. But I promise to make ot up to you. So i'll be making a oneshot for the next chapter (I guess).
