REMUS

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The search for Harry Potter was at it's peak. After the last sighting at Gringotts Wizarding Bank, no sign of him had been reported. Witches and wizards of all ages tuned into the secret communications on the radio: Potterwatch. Lee Jordan, a friend of the Weasley's, was the mastermind behind this network. Just like the Marauders, Remus suggested nicknames for the participants to protect them from Death Eaters. To take further precautions, Nymphadora and Teddy were to remain safe at home with her mother Andromeda.
Kingsley was now Royal. Remus was named after one of the mythological fathers of werewolves: Romulus. Even the Weasley twins and Lee Jordan had their own aliases. Calysta requested Canary because like a canary, she participated in most of the talking. Keeping an eye on her godson was her top priority.
Their last broadcast was done in the Room of Requirement, under the very noses of Death Eaters. They had found that the students that formed Dumbledore's Army just two years before were taking shelter there from the Death Eaters running the school. These students in particular were under scrutiny because they were known to be friends and allies of Harry Potter. They were hiding for three weeks, earning help only from Albus' own brother, Aberforth. He used his stores from his bar, The Hog's Head Inn, to support the wizards and witches taking refuge and to keep snatchers and Voldemort's supporters off their trail.
"Guys? I've found someone we've all been waiting to see," Neville Longbottom stepped through the portrait that hid the passage between Hogwarts and Hogsmeade. Calysta was behind him, but however happy Remus was to see her, it was another that held his attention. As he moved aside, the room erupted in cheers and gasps. Harry Potter came from the darkness, side-by-side with Ron and Hermione. The students crowded around him and hugged him with fierce relief.
"What...What are you all doing here?" Harry asked.
"Waiting for you, that's what!" Seamus Finnigan exclaimed. A murmur of agreement made its way around the room.
"Aberforth is our ally, as you obviously know now. He's been helping us prepare for battle with the Death Eaters. And he's been keeping an eye on you, Harry." Remus chimed in. Harry looked down at his hands; in it he held a shard of a mirror.
"Through the mirror. I thought it was Dumbledore at first...but it wasn't." Harry thought aloud. He put it away fast and walked up to Luna and Cho.
"I need to find something," He was quick to change the subject. "Have any of you heard of the Lost Diadem of Ravenclaw?" Luna and Cho shared a glance and Cho shook her head while Luna stayed still. Harry rubbed his chin in thought. "Rumor is, it was last seen at Hogwarts."
"It hasn't been seen in decades, possibly hundreds of years, Harry. If it was at Hogwarts, someone would have found it by now," Luna reasoned. Harry threw his hands down in frustration.
"It has to be here. Is there not someone I can ask?" Harry asked desperately.
"The Gray Lady," Cho answered after a long pause. "She's often found in the corridor leading up to Ravenclaw tower." She instructed him. Harry smiled gratefully.
"We need to find it. I need help."
"While you're off doing that, what are the rest of us supposed to do?" Dean Thomas spoke. Harry turned to them all with a grim expression.
"We prepare for battle." Harry launched into Calysta's arms and the two held onto each other for many moments. Calysta finally let her godson go and him and Luna left the room in search of the diadem. Calysta and Remus stood to take charge.
