Suddenly, those purple eyes opened. Those eyes which held such deep legends and tales. The eyes which belonged to Amia, who was in a dark room. She laid in a bed with a white pillow and red bed-spread. She slipped out of the bed which was up against the wall. "F-Father?" She called out, looking around the room. The only response she got was a slight echo. Then, she walked to the door and grabbed the knob with ease, knowing exactly where it was and able to see it clearly even though it was pitch black in that room. She gingerly twisted it and cracked it open. Xalius noticed as it cracked open, leaving a small window of space for Amia to peek through and see Xalius who looked back, sitting in a chair outside of the room she was in, right beside the door. She closed the door and ran back over to the bed, burying herself under the covers. Then, the door opened up, letting a portion of the small bit of light which was currently in the Batcave to sneak in through the door. Xalius walked into the room and slowly closed the door behind him, grabbing the slider on the wall, beside the door that acted as a light switch and slid it to the second lowest setting, allowing him to see slightly. He pulled a chair up beside her bed from the wall which had one more chair and a couch against it. It acted as a guest room for the Batcave. She peeked from under the covers at him. He simply sat in the chair beside her, looking down at her and smiling a small, but assuring smile to comfort her. "Hi there." He said, still smiling. "Y-You're not my father..." She said, in a shy and timid manner. "You're right, I'm not." He said, in a gentle tone. "I'm..." He began, pausing to think for a moment. I don't want to dishonor her memory of Riial... She might not know that he experimented on her... Or anyone, for that matter... He thought to himself before continuing only a second later, "A friend of your father's." He said, keeping that gentle smile on his face. Then, she crawled out from under the covers, crawling towards Xalius in her crimson robes which she'd had on since he first saw her. She leaned towards Xalius, her face close to his as she looked deep into his eyes. "Did he experiment on you, too?" She asked curiously. Xalius was a bit surprised that she did know, but not too surprised. "Mhm. You may know me as Wrath. It's what your father used to call me." He said, nodding. "Oooh... My father would talk about you sometimes... But you're not how he said you were... You're not violent or aggressive at all..." She said, rather confused as she tilted her head. Xalius chuckled lightly before responding, "Well, I used to be." He said, remembering how he was when he was strapped down to that table which they used to sustain them while they operated on him and injected him. "Your eyes... They're purple..." Xalius said just after he noticed. "Mhm!" She said, grinning as she nodded. I didn't expect her to be this kind... She's been locked up in a room with nobody but Riial for her entire life... Then again, that may just be the hyperness he was talking about... He thought to himself as he looked at her. "Hey, where's my father?" She asked, raising her eyebrows. Shit... It'll break her heart if she knows... But I have to tell her, to honor Riial's death as well as her life... He thought to himself. Then, before he even spoke, her eyes filled with tears. "D-Dead?" She asked, tears rolling down her cheeks. What?! How'd she know?! I didn't even tell her yet! He thought to himself, shocked at what he'd just experienced. Suddenly as she cried, things around the room began to levitate. ...Is she... An esper?... He thought to himself as he witnessed this paranormal sight. Then, they began to rattle and shiver a bit. However, a gentle rattle soon became a violent shaking. I've gotta calm her down... He thought to himself before he decided to hug her. Before he could open his arms, she knew what he was doing and clung to him, hugging him tight. He frowned a bit before hugging her tight, attempting to comfort her. Soon, the things in the room stopped rattling and lowered back to their original spots. She'd calmed down.

She pulled away from the hug, Xalius releasing her. "H-How'd it happen?" She asked, wiping her tears. Xalius opened his mouth to utter the name of the man who killed Riial. "Wh-Who?.. Who's that?" She asked. He tried to ask her what she meant, but before he could even open his mouth, she responded, "T-That guy you just said... Exterminator.." She explained, shocking him even more. ...She can read the future... But just how far can she read into it...? He thought to himself, curious of her abilities. Then, he began counting inside his head. He'd planned to count to fifteen, then say what he was going to say. However, he only got to five before she spoke again, "An A-Assassin? Like those guys on TV? With all the swords and guns and stuff?" She asked. She can read ten seconds into the future... That's annoying as hell... I'm gonna have to teach her to control that... He thought before her stomach growled. "M-Mhm.." She responded to the question Xalius had yet to ask. She slid out of the bed and stood beside Xalius who also stood up. Then, she walked over to the door and grasped the door knob with ease, not even having to search for it. For whatever reason, she blushed.  It's almost pitch black in here... Even I'd have to search for the door knob a bit before finding it... She must have incredible eyesight... He thought to himself as he walked beside her and turned the lights off as they walked out into the main part of the cave. They'd been inside the hollow, elevated platform which held the Bat-pod. "Oh?" Barbara said, turning her head towards Amia, "Nice to see you're awake." She said with a wide smile. Barbara was about to ask the girl if she had her name right. Then, she nodded. "Y-Yes, it's Amia..." She said, "W-What's your name?" Barbara was a bit confused as to what had just happened. Then, she prepared to respond. "Barbara?.. Pr-Pretty..." She said, her bashfulness still strong and ongoing. ...An esper... Barbara thought to herself, catching on quite quickly. "M-Mhm..." She said while nodding, responding to the thanks that Barbara was about to give her. She nodded and walked over beside Barbara. By this time, Barbara had gotten used to the fact that she could see the future. Xalius followed the two as they walked into the dining room of the Batcave. "W-Where are we?" She asked as she looked around. "Y-Your homebase?" She asked, "What's that..?" She asked, responding to the things which Xalius would say in ten seconds. "Well... I guess the-" He began. However, he was interrupted by her. "Oh.. That's cool..." She said. She's like a child... Xalius thought to himself as they entered the dining room.
