Wherever You Are

Chapter 3

"Why did you guys... What do you... how?" I sounded as flabbergasted and starstruck as I did just hours ago when I met them for the first time.
"We picked you up in our car, we were wondering if you'd like to come back to our hotel rooms for a bit?" Ashton said.
Calum did a cheeky wolf whistle and Ashton smacked his knee. Luke, Calum and Michael burst into giggles. Ashton blushed bright red.
"I just really enjoyed meeting you today, as did we all" he said. I couldn't believe what I was hearing. This time 24 hours ago they knew my name, and now I'm currently climbing out of a car with the guys surrounded by security being ushered in the hotel!
"Wow..I can't even believe this is happening right now" I giggled.
"Are you all in the same room?"
"We have a big room that's sectioned into two parts 2 beds in one and 2 in the other with the bathroom in between" Luke explained. There were fans waiting in the lobby area who screamed as we walked in. Ashton and Michael were ushered away with me by security up a lift, but Calum and Luke went over to the fans.
"How come you guys didn't go over?" I asked.
"Security's strict. Don't get me wrong, we love meeting our fans it's just sometimes its not the ideal time for us" Michael said. I totally understood, I had no idea what it was like being famous. I still couldn't treat then like normal people as much as I wanted to, they were still the four biggest idols to me and yet I was standing walking into a fucking hotel room with them.
"Will they be back soon?" I asked as Ashton lead us to the door of their hotel room.
"Yeah don't worry, they'll come straight up" he said.
The door opened, and inside was more beautiful than I could of imagined. This was what first class arrangements were like!
The wallpaper was white with swirls, and the carpet was a cream color that my feet instantly sunk into. The king sized beds were draped with red blanket sheets and there were huge flat screen tv's in both the rooms. The bathroom floor was glass tiled and the toilet seat was glittery. There were spotlights that gleamed off the floor. I felt like I was in a palace, not a hotel!
"Wow, is this regular 5SOS accomodation?!" I asked in awe.
"You could say that" Ashton said.
Calum and Luke walked in almost instantly, looking flustered.
"They were mad, loving but mad" Luke stroked back his quiff. His cheeks were red.
"Are you guys gonna chill in here for a bit?" I asked.
"Actually, I was gonna ask you something" Ashton said. Suddenly my heart began beating at a million miles an hour, at least, that's what it seemed. A rush of excitement came over me, like when I first read the email saying I'd won the meet and greet competition.
"What?" I tried to sound cool and composed but my head was all over the place, running through quotes Ashton might say to me that I knew were a load of bullshit but they made me blush with joy.
"We'll leave you guys alone" Michael winked and lifted his eyebrows and the 3 of them scurried out the room like naugbty schoolboys. I laughed.
"So, Kimberley" Ashton sat on the edge of the bed and I willingly sat next to him. He had that big grin on his face that I fell in love with the moment I saw it 3 years ago.
"So Ashton" I replied, but my voice was ridiculously high and I sounded like a chipmunk. I slapped my hand over my mouth to avoid laughing at myself in shame and ruining this moment between me and my idol.
"Haha that was cute!" He chuckled. "Anyway, what I wanted to say was I think your beautiful" I felt my body tense with happiness when he said those words, it was nothing more than a girl would want to hear.
"Ashton you don't know how much that makes me happy" I giggled.
"I mean, I think you're more than beautiful. I think you're stunning." The words came out of his mouth like nothing I could ever prepare for. It took a while for my head to process the words he just said. I felt my eyes tear up
as he saw my reaction.
"I never usually feel this way about a fan, but when I saw you I thought you were so stunning I knew. Its going to sound minblowingly crazy to you, but I really really like you Kimberley"
I was so absorbed in Ashton's talking that I didn't realize the tears in my eyes fell when I finally blinked away from his face. I pinched myself half a dozen times thinking this was a dream but this was real life. Ashton stared into my eyes. I stared back. Unless he was giving me mixed signals, I had a feeling where this was going...a feeling that was virtually physically impossible for a girl like me.
I don't know what came over me, but I leaned in to Ashton's face and placed my lips on his. He placed his hands on my waist and after a few seconds, I pulled away to stare at him once more. His beautiful, cheery grin smiling back at me like he had just won the lottery or something.
"Ashton... This is insane" I said in disbelief as I squeezed his hand that was placed on my lap. I couldn't help but grin as I looked at his face.
"You're everything I could ever want in a girl, and I've got that off you in a few hours" he said. He held his other hand and cupped it around my free hand. "I think I love you" I whispered.
"I think I love you too" he whispered back. Just before he leaned in for a kiss, I heard cheering in the next room
"YES ASH!" Michael screamed, before I heard a guitar strum and Calum singing "Ashton has asked a girl out, Ashton has asked a girl out" over and over.
"Quit it guys!" Ashton tried to sound all manly and serious but his facial expression suggested otherwise. He kissed me again and I wrapped my arms round his neck. We fell backwards and started laughing before I stared into his eyes. And still this didn't feel real.
