reader turns INVISIBLE???? 😱 (temporarily)

• Sebastian Sallow •

At first, Sebastian would be extremely impressed.

"Woah, okay, I didn't mean to cast disillusionment to that extent... but this is kinda brilliant."

Then, the panic sets in as he realizes the spell is hard to reverse. He'd research extensively, stubbornly refusing help until someone intervenes, likely Ominis.

Despite all the stress, he'd secretly find it fun for a few moments. He'd often try to convince you to help him play pranks on the first years by making them think you were a ghost. They wouldn't go in the library for months before a prefect assured them it was safe.

• Ominis Gaunt •

Ominis would detect that something was wrong before anybody else.

"You're not in the room, but I can hear you breathing? What in merlin's name is going on?"

Once you tell him about the spell, he becomes worried for you. I mean, it's not like much would change for him, he couldn't see you in the first place, but for you? That was a different story. He tried to remain composed though, as to not cause panic in you.

He wouldn't joke much about it, but would be oddly tender. Talking softly to the air, holding out his hand for you with certainty. It definitely made you feel better about the situation, seeing as though not much had changed for your relationship.

• Poppy Sweeting •

She would be very concerned, but also weirdly intrigued.

"You're invisible? Are you hurt? Wait, can beasts see you? We should test this!"

She'd turn it into a half-research, half-rescue mission. Bringing out her puffskein, Gerald, to see how he reacted to your presence. Though she would still be incredibly supportive. Turns out, Gerald could see you and got excited around you, it was as if he could feel your presence.

• Garreth Weasley •

At first, absolutely thrilled.

"Did one of my potions do that? That's amazing!"

Tried to reverse the effects with another potion, but that only made you lose your voice, which made matters 10 times worse. Despite all the chaos, he'd never stop trying. After a few more bad attempts, he would reluctantly go to Professor Sharp for help. He scolded the both of you right after a solution was made.

• Aesop Sharp •

He'd be frustrated, but not at you, at the situation.

"Just- stand still. What spell were you even trying to cast?"

He'd analyze the situation carefully, and try to create a potion that would remove the effects. He was secretly shaken by how much he cares, something he's not used to showing. Once he could see you again, he'd scold you, but would bring you into a relieved hug right after.

• Mirabel Garlick •

She'd react with a surprising calm.

"Oh, dear. An invisibility mishap? Let's see what we can do here."

She'd treat as a magical plant issue, trying to see how the spell "took hold of the roots" and how to coax it back. It was oddly effective though. She'd remain warm and supportive the whole time, talking to the air like it was nothing. She'd make you feel completely seen, even though you weren't.
