What Happened?

"Now what happened?" Baekhyun interrogated Sehun after finally calming Seong and getting her to sleep.

"Well uh you uh see...uh when you told us to get her earlier, she uh was running and we were downstairs and I jumped in the air to catch her and she uh, this is gonna sound crazy." Sehun looked pleadingly at Baekhyun.

"I thoroughly enjoy crazy. Do tell." he answered still eyeing the boy.

Sehun shifted uncomfortably in his seat on the couch. "Well she lifted her hands to brace herself from the impact of..well..me, and uh when she did I stopped in mid-air. She was holding me in mid-air! I sound so CRAZY." Sehun pulled at his hair, eyes wide and frantic.

"It's not crazy."

"What?" Sehun snapped his head up looking at Baekhyun confused.

"It's not crazy." Baekhyun repeated.

"Okay broken record. What is it then?" Lay piped up.

Baekhyun looked at the 11 boys surrounding him before answering, "It's one of her 12 powers. It's why Mom always called her special. She is the mitochondria to us."

"She's our power house? What for?" Chanyeol asked incredulously.

"Your powers." Baekhyun stated looking around at every members 'You've gotta be kidding me' look.

"Our whats?" Tao questioned eyes wide.

"Why do you think SM put us together? It's not just an entertainment company." Baekhyun continued ignoring Tao's question.

"Then what the hell is it?" Luhan inquired.

"It's founders are composed of Hunters. That's all I can tell you. For now they need us to hone our powers." Baekhyun answered.

"And what are our powers?" Kai asked.

Baekhyun's head snapped to Kai. "Now that, I cannot tell you." he responded.

"Why not?" Kyungsoo whined.

"Well because you cannot know your powers. If you know what it is, you'll expect it. If you expect it, it will never come. I already have come to know my powers." Baekhyun explained.

"What are your powers?" Suho asked.

Baekhyun lifted his hand and rubbed them together like he was forming a clay ball in his hands and light slowly began to creep out from the cracks. He continued rolling opening his hands and forming the ball of light larger and larger. As it became the size of a soccer ball he lifted his hands towards the ceiling and the ball spread across the ceiling like the water. The boys were squinting because the light was so bright. Then Baekhyun snapped his fingers and it disappeared in a flash of sparks. "I have the ability to control light."

"Oh my god." Baekhyun earned a chorus of oh my god's from the boys who were staring at him in awed shock.

"Yeah. And one of you have the telekinesis that Seong possessed earlier. I just can't tell you who of course." Baekhyun continued, "Your powers are all her powers."

The 11 other boys looked at each other curiously.

"I wonder who will get fire? That would be SO COOL!" Chanyeol exclaimed as everyone laughed it him.

"I wonder how you would activate that..." Chen inquired.

"Wouldn't it be funny if it was like The Human Torch from Fantastic Four?" Xiumin laughed.

"FLAME ON!" Chanyeol mimicked The Human Torch bouncing into his position before bursting into flames.

"Oh my fucking GOD!! I'M ON FIRE!!!" Chanyeol screeched. "Oh my god! Oh my god! Put it out!!"

"Chanyeol, calm down and it will go out. It doesn't hurt right?" Baekhyun inquired.

Chanyeol stopped screaming and stood still and the fire melted back into his skin. "No it doesn't hurt, surprisingly."

"Right good. Okay guys, go to bed. You've got a long day ahead of you tomorrow." Baekhyun dismissed them.

"Why?" Lay asked.

"We are gonna get your powers to come out and play." Baekhyun winked before going to his room.

Baekhyun sat at his desk and unlock the drawer to the right. He put out an old leather back book and opened it.

Baekhyun checked off Chanyeol's name as he had found his power today. Baekhyun put the book back in the drawer closing it and locking it before going to bed.
