Epilogue

Five Years Later

Emma's POV

I woke up to the sun streaming down on my face.

I yawned and I heard shifting from beside me. 

Turning me head over I saw my adorable black haired dragon slayer sleeping soundly. 

A smile tugged at my lips and I rested my head back on the pillow, thinking while staring at the ceiling. 

Lamia Scale was rebuilt in Crocus, not too close to Sabertooth but at least Rogue and I weren't separeted. That new guild has apparently been doing pretty well and I'm glad. 

Steff recovered pretty well and is as annoying as he used to be. I chuckled at my thought. 

My back hit a well built chest and I tilted my head back and smiled. "Good morning sleepy head." I said and the captor of the arms chuckled. "Good morning to you too." He said groggily and I giggled. 

He planted a soft kiss on my lips and pulled away a few moments later. It was my turn to chuckle and I escaped the grip on me and sat up, my dark purple pijamas making a frictiony sound with the bed sheets. 

I walked over to the kitchen in the small aprtment and began cooking. Humming along the way I prepared some pancakes and set three plates on the table each containing at least one pancake. Placing the maple syrup and butter on the table with forks and knives, I called over to my loving boyfriend. 

Your wondering, why three plates? Well.......

"Fro is tired." The little green exceed wearing a pink frog suit said walking up to the table and taking a seat. 

Rogue came in and was dressed in his usual clothes and sat down as well. It was my turn to sit down and we all started eating our food. 

I had to cut Frosch's pancake into tiny little bites that would fit into her (Is Frosch a girl or a boy) mouth. Rogue and I aren't too sure if she can use a knife properly without injuring herself. 

After breakfast was over, Rogue kissed me on the cheek and left with Frosch to his guild. 

Sighing I got changed and walked out the door and walked towards my guild. 

Opening the doors I walked over to my office people greeting me on the way. "Master! Will you play with me?" A little three year old girl with brown hair said and I crouched down and smiled at the small child. 

I returned to my kinder personality, like the person I was before the murder. I picked her up and walked over to where a few Barbie dolls were scattered on the floor. 

I set her down and sat down myself, playing with the small child until her parents called her over. "Lina! Come here sweetie!" Her mother called and Lina collected her dolls and gave a hug before running over to her parents who were waiting for her at the doors. 

I got up and brushed my skirt off, walking into my office to take care of some paperwork. "Master!" I turned around and saw Sherry standing there with a few papers in her hands. 

When the incident happened with Lar when he bombed the guild, Lyon, Sherry, Chelia, Bushy-Brow and Toby were gone on a mission and came back when I came to check and see if the new guild was good enough. 

"Yes Sherry?" I asked sweetly and she handed me the papers. "The new job requests that came in this morning." She said handing me the papers. I nodded and took them. "Thank you Sherry." I said continuing my way to my office. 

I sorted through the jobs deciding which one was S-Rank leveor higher, if they seemed suspicious I threw them out, and a bunch of things like that. I placed them all neatly in folders. "Sherry!" I called and she was in my office within minutes. Sherry was my personal assistant, and I handed her the folders and she scurried off to place them on the boards. 

Wind blew into the office and two arms wrapped around me. I looked back and chuckled. "You have to stop coming through the window. You could come in through the doors you know. The guild knows we're together they won't suspect anything." I said and he laughed. "I find it less mysterious that way." He pouted and I giggled. 

I stood up and my arms wrapped around his neck, his hands lowering to my waist, and we kissed. 

My life is perfect. I couldn't ask for more. 

A/N: So this is the end of A Shadow in the Abyss! I really enjoyed writing this story and I'm sad that it's now over. And I've been thinking it over, who should I pair up with Steff? Lucy or Cana? I can't decide between the two........ Anyway I hope you enjoyed reading this story my Strawberry Patches! If you'd check out my other stories that would be great! I'll post an update if I end up writing a love story with Steff in it, or if I have any other Fairy Tail x OC fanfics. Do any of you remember Jake? Steff's best friend?
