Emma POV
A few months have passed and I was in a team with Lyon... We became best friends sort of and he quit his team which was at maximum limit and we made a team together.

We called ourselves Team....... Ok we still haven't figured out a name yet.

No matter how I don't like to admit it, I actually like it here. I could be myself and no one would judge me.

I was waiting for the announcer to call up our guild for the entrance in the arena for the Grand Magic Games.

The team representing Lamia Scale composed of Lyon, Steff, Jake, Chelia and I.

It was my first year in the guild and Grand Magic Games which was quite thrilling.

"Fifth place in the maze....... Lamia Scale!" We walked out and there were many cheers and some boos but we ignored most of them.

After all the entrance for the eight teams who made it through the first part were announced and the first event of the day was over, it was time for the one on one battles.

"Lyon of Lamia Scale against Ichya of Blue Pegasus!"

The fight ended pretty quickly and was slightly boring but in the end Lyon won.

I could hardly pay attention to the fights and found my gaze landing on a pale black haired dragon slayer.

I saw him look at me from the corner of his eyes making my cheeks heat up for a minute and I don't know why!

I forced the heat down and focused on the fight before me.

By the end of the day I was exhausted. Four more days and it'll be over. I sighed and fell asleep.

I sat on my usual seat in the arena and waited for the first match to begin.

"Rogue of Sabertooth and Mirajane of Fairy Tail!" Ooh, this was going to be interesting.

I was curious about this boy and honestly, seeing him fight might ease that curiosity.

They didn't seem to want to wait.

"Evil Explosion!" Mirajane yelled in her Satan Soul form.

"Shadow Dragon: ROAR!" Rogue counter attacked, both of them dodging at the last minute.

Before Mirajane could attack again, Rogue was in front of her. "Shadow Dragon: Talon! Shadow Dragon: Fist!" He hit her with both attack making her skid backwards.

Her wings grew and she flew at him sending a mighty kick at his legs which should've caused him to fall but he jumped in the air just as her leg came into contact with his.

They sent punches and kicks at lightening speed sending a few magic attacks every now and then.

After ten minutes they were both panting and seemed to run low on magic energy. "Shadow Dragon.....: Roar." Rogue managed to say. "Evil.......... Explosion....!" Mirajane countered and once the attack hit them they fell to the ground earning a tie.

I looked over and saw two Fairy Tail teams. Must've brought two in just in case.

"Lucy of Fairy Tail and Steff of Lamia Scale!" I perked up and gave my brother a sly smile as he jumped down into the arena.

Two summoning wizards. That will be interesting.

Steff smirked and Lucy had a determined look on her face.
