     The day was hectic campers all over the place trying to finish up their camp activities quickly enough to go practice for the karaoke thing. I was no different, but whereas they had friends smiling with them and helping them with clothes or whatever I received glares and disgusted looks. The girl. . . Why did she have to do , that I mean come on another girl's guy? 
My blonde hair that I let grow a little shaggy flopped to the side as I walked into the amphitheater  after wall climbing for some lunch. Some of the chatter died down a bit as I passed the Aphrodite table and a piece of lettuce landed on the Orange shirt that clung to my chest due to the sweat. I looked down and felt sorry for the kid who threw it. The poor kid. Aphrodite's children barely ate. Quickly I made my way to the Zeus I mean Jupiter. . . Zeus. You know what I mean. Leo and I had come up with a cool plan and honestly I was nervous about it. I knew Pipes was really hurt I didn't mean to hurt her and I couldn't help the situation anyway. The song I picked was perfect and as I thought about all of this I stared over to my beauty queen, sitting in the midst of her siblings putting on a brave face. I hated know that I was partially the reason. Soon enough though.

Later that night the camp was buzzing. The girls were excited hoping that some guy would sing to them and other just wanted some hilarious bad notes and me well I'm trying not to piss my self a harpy out if you get what I mean.
"Superman!" Leo called skipping over with his mischievous smile, " You ready dude?" He held out his fist and we bumped in a greeting.
" As I'll ever be," I shrugged. We walked to the campfire together and Jacob was at the edge of the stage and T.J. Was there giggling and pushing her hair behind her ear, the most girly thing I'd ever seen her do. I had to admit what she did last night took guts. Something I needed. I sat in the front row with three or four other campers who I didn't know very well.
"Hello Camp Half Blood!" Jacob yelled as he ran to the centre of the stage the camper cheered and stamped their feet like drum rolls.
" that's what I like to hear!" He said, " We've got something really special for you tonight." I ask him to let me go first letting him on the plan. He agreed, didn't take much he just wanted his girlfriend to stop complaint about her sister and me. I ran up on stage and surprisingly I received a bit of cheering.
" erm, Hey everyone. There something I've got to say." I started, " Last week Reyna kissed me, she was trying to steal me away from the girls that took my heart and wouldn't give it back," My eyes  found Piper's I the crowd she looked at me trying to decide whether I was being truthful or not.
"I am so sorry Piper I couldn't stop her. I'd never cheat on the most perfect girl ever." I said earning a few wolf whistles, awes and shouts. Piper's eyes softened and she gave me the biggest smile and all the hurt that she'd been carrying around disappeared. I nodded to Jacob and started nodding my head to the beat and with a smile I start to sing the song  that Piper absolutely adored.
" I am thinking it's a sign" Piper's eyes widened and I grinned. She always said this should be our song.
"That the freckles in our eyes

We kiss they're perfectly aligned" I rocked out a bit and now I was receiving cheers for the crowd and the only thing I could see the the pretty girl with the choppy brown hair wear faded skinny jeans with a plaid flannel shirt. She looked
Like golden drachmas.

Like puzzle pieces from the clay"
As I continued to sing I jumped of the stage and walked towards Piper. The song was a perfect choice, Such Great Heights by the Postal Service and I was using it to my advantage.

I hope this song will guide you home" I finally got to Pipes at this point and without giving her time to react I put my arm around her slender waist and flew us up a bit. The jealous and excited sequels that erupted from the female population. I did it right. I'm winning back my girl, my best friend my beauty queen.

The rest of the song was just me singing my feelings to Piper and her snuggling into my chest a few feet of the ground. The crowd went wild. I don't even know what happened that night at camp. I dropped the mic to Jacob's hand and flew off over New York with my beauty queen
