Lilly's POV
"Welcome to The Fangirl Games, everyone!" The announcer said into the speaker. I could barely concentrate, this was insane. My fangirl inside was taking over, and I could scream.
I was basically inside the map of The Cube SMP season one. They had taken the map, and turned it into real life. It was even surrounded by a forest, I was more than excited.
As the announcer was calling off names of the participants I looked over to Jordanne. She was freaking out as much as I was. To think that we were going to be participating in a game with our favorite youtubers was insane. I couldn't even comprehend it.
The competitors was everyone from The Cube season one. The announcer even said there might be some special surprises along the way, but, and I quote, "Who knows?"
"We are so excited to be here!" Graser10 said into the microphone. They were all currently standing behind the announcer, waiting to get started.
The crowd cheered for Graser, and all the members standing behind him. "And I know we quote on quote, die, but don't worry, we still love you all and are so happy you could make it out here today!" He said.
Everyone went silent for the "dying" part. That's when the announcer stepped back up. "No, they will not die. You will attack and they will appear dead, like a video game, yeah?" She laughed, receiving a positive reaction from the crowd.
This time, Bayani stepped up. "It shall be fun!" He said, with a little laugh. "Don't go for me I don't wanna die." He added before being pulled away again by the announcer.
The announcer spoke yet again. "As they have said, we are so excited to have this big of a turn out! Thank you all for showing up today to be a part of our first ever Fangirl Games." She smiled. "Let the games begin!"
Everyone screamed as The Cube walked off stage and into the arena. Soon enough, we would be behind those gates and we could be the fangirls we were meant to be.
