Jordanne's POV
I was running, without tripping surprisingly, after Bayani. My messenger beeped along with Bayani's watch, but he was running away from me so he didn't check it and neither did I. I am guessing that they got Tybzi out, since we trapped him. I am mad that we didn't catch Bayani, but we got someone at least, even if he was the creator of the Tybzidoodles. The chase continued for a few minutes before I got another beep on the messenger, and like last time, I ignored it. By then, I was running out of breath, but I just pushed through it and ignored the fact that I was not used to running this fast for long periods of time. We ran into spawn, running the streets.
Slowly, I started slowing down unknowingly, causing Bayani to get far ahead of me. This went on for a few minutes before I slowed to a complete stop, Bayani not slowing down a bit.
I went around, trying to catch my breath, looking at the stuff that I was used to seeing on the screen of my phone. I explored the street where the Potion Shop and the Cat Café were located. I heard a meow come from the café and decided to check it out. I opened the door to see three siamese cats there, each had a collar with their names on it. I sat by Buddy and played with him a little, since I had a little time until I needed to get back to the forest. After a while, I decided to get back in the forest to try to find the other girls.
...
I had been walking for what seemed like an eternity when I heard I stick break. Instantly, I got into my getting ready to run mode, just in case it was a mob. I heard the clatter of bones indicating that it was indeed a Skeleton. There seemed to be an abundance of them in this forest. I slowly backed away from it when I was grabbed and pulled to behind a tree. I went to scream, but before I could, I hand planted firmly on my mouth.
Great, I thought to myself. Now I'm getting captured. I saw my messenger light up out of the corner of my eye. I struggled against the hand, but whoever it was wasn't budging anytime soon.
"Are you going to be quiet?" A female voice asked. She sounded familiar. I nodded in response to her question. She took her hand from my mouth and wiped it off. I saw the familiar blonde hair and green eyes.
"Hi Anna," I whispered. I hadn't seen her since the time we had before the Games. She put her finger up to her mouth, telling me to be quiet. I just nodded and grabbed the messenger. It informed me that Tybzi had been taken out and that I got a message from Lilly, telling me to meet them at Spawn. I heard the rattling of bones a few feet away. I slowly got up and saw Anna do the same thing as we got ready to run.
We got up and ran. A few moments later an arrow had lodged into the tree beside me, and I let out a little scream. Anna grabbed my wrist and pulled me along, until I stumbled over a tree root. I fell and dragged her down with me. She got up and ran away without me.
I got back up and was face to face with the Skeleton. I screamed a little before I got an arrow shot at me. I dodged it quickly but it managed to get my left shoulder. I quickly removed it and ran back to Spawn. I heard a scream in the distance and my messenger beeped.
...
I saw the girls a little bit down the street from where I was. I ran to them, by then the blood had been cleaned up by a leaf that I'm almost positive wasn't poison ivy. Lilly was the one to notice me first.
"Hey Jordanne," she said. "Where have you been?"
"Just running in to people," I said.
"Okay," she said. "Did you happen upon a Skeleton?"
"Yep," I said, popping the p. "But I wasn't the unlucky victim of a Skeleton that I got informed of on my messenger."
"That's good, we were worried about that," she said. "And Rin over here thought you were taken out."
"It made sense at the time," Rin said defensely.
"Don't worry, I am here," I said with a smile. I then noticed that Purple wasn't there. "What happened to Maria?"
"She went back to her group after she helped us get rid of Tybzi," Lilly said.
"Fun, shall we go into the forest again?" I asked. They nodded and we walked to the forest.
...
"So, who got taken out," Rin asked as we walked around. I just shrugged in response, although it was probably Anna, but then again, it might not have been her.
"Who knows," Lilly said. She pointed up at the soon to be dark sky. "We need to get up in a tree or something."
We both nodded and all three of us climbed a tree. I set up the place where I would sleep that night. I watched the sun go down and went to sleep.
