Lilly's POV

I tried to sleep, I really did. It just, wasn't happening.

The first few nights I was good with sleeping in the trees, but right now, too much was on my mind to fall asleep.

We could be taken out at any given moment.

We could lose the whole thing.

All that we've worked for in the past few months, could vanish in a matter of seconds.

And that's why I stayed awake. I couldn't risk having all three of us sleeping and not think about mobs, or humans. Bayani for sure wants us out of the game, and I wasn't going to go so easily.

I was determined to get to the end of this game, it was going to happen.

-----

I woke up to three beeps. I fricking fell asleep, god dammit.

"What was that!" Jordanne's eyes popped open. As did Rin's, but she didn't have nearly as much of a reaction as Jordanne.

"The messengers, duh." Rin answered, pulling hers out.

It read 7:56 am and I groaned. "So early."

"Yeah, but look at the message." Jordanne said and smiled.

I pulled out my messenger.

Kiingtong taken out by fangirl massacre.

I laughed at the message. "Nice, Will. A fangirl massacre."

Jordanne and Rin chuckled at the message. Then, all three of us snapped back to reality when we saw green in the distance.

And of course, we saw it as soon as we all had hopped down from the tree.

"I hate rooftop forests." I mumbled, staying quiet.

"It's only a zombie, were good." Rin said.

Jordanne had got something out of her bag. "Is that a sword?" I asked, pointing at the iron thing she had picked up.

She shrugged. "I just found it in my bag last night. I got lucky. Let me kill this one." She said and started to run after it.

Rin and I stayed where she left us, watching her and waiting for her to come back.

The next thing I knew Rin and I were on the floor. "What the-" and I saw part of the ground blown up.

"Fucking hate creepers." Rin rolled her eyes. She got out some food and handed me some to make sure we were okay from the explosion. I'm just glad the creeper is now gone, but my left arm was really hurting now.

"Guys! I got the zom- what happened to you guys?" Jordanne asked.

"Creeper blew up." I shrugged, taking a bite of the food I was handed.

"Are you guys okay?" She asked.

Rin and I both nodded. "We're good." Rin said.

Jordanne sighed. "That's good. Buuuut on the bright side, I killed the zombie!!" She cheered.

I gave her a small high five and we began walking, trying to make our way out of the dreaded rooftop forest.

"Be careful." We would all remind each other as we were walking. We continued to hear branches snap and people talking. It was, honestly, kinda creepy.

-----

Our messengers we're going insane. Apparently, a bunch of girls were just taken out. The messenger was also acting weird.

So, we had no way of knowing what to look out for. And, it seemed as if someone hijacked the message, because to test it, I sent a message to Jordanne. It sent perfectly fine.

"That's, really weird." Jordanne said when we compared the messages.

"Something must be messed up in the creators system." Rin shrugged as we continued walking.

We continued going, and out of no where, we were being pulled up in the air.

All three of us screamed, this was insane! What was this trickery? We were caught in a net, tied to a tree.

We heard a male's laugh. "That's what you girls get for being try hards."

I groaned. "Of course, Bayani." I rolled my eyes.

"Hey! Let us out of here!" Rin yelled down.

Jordanne, for some reason, stayed silent through this whole interaction.

Bayani shrugged and laughed. "I think I can just leave you girls up there." He said. "You were smart enough to get Tybzi out, but not smart enough for me. This is an easy trap, figure out how to get yourselves out." He smiled devilishly.

"Hey, dude, fuckface, whatever you go by," Rin said and I held in my laugh at her insults. "If we cut ourselves out we'll fall and get seriously injured." She said.

Bayani rolled his eyes. "That's why you have to think outside the box, or net, in our case. Figure out how to get down safely. In the meantime, I'll be out." Bayani said and began walking.

Rin and I were trying to get his attention back.

"Guys." Jordanne said. "Stop moving so much." She said, nothing moving her eyes from where they were planted the whole time.

We stopped moving. "Thank you." She said and continued to stare. She was looking at the tree. "Okay. Were gonna shift our weight to one side." She said. We all moved over to the right side of the net, which moved us in the direct she was looking at. She grabbed a tree branch to keep us in this position.

"Grab my sword out." Jordanne directed. I did as said, "Okay, cut here." And I did that too.

And we didn't fall. We were on top of a tree branch.

We all celebrated as we got free. "Take that Bayani, I can do anything I want." Jordanne smiled.

"It's like you've done that before?" Rin said.

We laughed. "You don't know my life!" Jordanne said, jokingly.
