Ava's POV

"S... Sister?" Elizabeth asked me. I knew this would probably happen. I mean its been twelve years!

"Yeah. Don't you remember?" I ask a little sad she doesn't remember me. I mean I remembered her and Annabeth!

"No sorry. The only sister I have is Anna and she isn't here." I sigh in defeat. If she can't remember on her own, then I will have to help!

"So you don't remember? It's ok. After the accident you and Annabeth never remembered me. I was just a stranger to you. But at least Annabeth remembered me a little, so her and I were friends for a small amount of time." I explain. Her eyes widen and a few tears still forming are visible.

"W... what accident?" She stutters.

"The car crash. On your twelve birthday. We we're going to Papa Johns and... you and Annabeth were so happy! But then the car came and then it happened. They were gone." She starts to cry a bit.

"I'm so sorry... Ava it is, but I don't remember you." I sigh and start to walk away. I guess I will always be a figure in the shadows for people to ignore.

Then I see it. Maybe my opportunity to get close to Elizabeth again! Jackson! Luckily he was walking to Elizabeth.

"Jackson!" I exclaim. He looks at me funny as I run to hug him. I pull away and he looks at me funny.

"I'm sorry miss bu... Ava?" He remembers!

"It's me!" I say as he hugs me again tightly.

"Aww it's been to long!" He points out as we pull away.

"It has!" I agree. Elizabeth walks up to us.

"Umm... Jack do you know her?" She asks. She is still the same. Quiet and shy.

"Yeah. This is Ava. We have been friends since second grade? Yeah but one day she kinda disappeared into thin air." I wipe away a few tears away. He doesn't know I didn't disappear, I was taken away from my family 'cause I was a 'threat for their mental state'. They are my sisters! How could I be a treat?!

"Well you know me! Always hiding.'' I joke. He laughs along with my fake laugh.

"We should catch up! You should come to our place, if that's alright with Els." He looks down at her and she slightly smiles.

"Great! I just need to go to my foster home to change." He looks at me surprised.

"You live in a foster home?" I try to smile which worked.

"Y... yeah." I look down, trying to hid my tears.

"Well... we can drive you!" Wow. He still is the same weird, happy self he is.

"No you don't have to that! I can walk." I honestly want some alone time, but I'm so afraid to be alone.

"No please. My treat for a old friend." I smile and agree. I get into the back of the car. We drive to my place. The people there are nice. Some are a little... how do I put this.... insane!

"I'll be right back!" I rush inside to be greeted by my foster brothers and sisters.

I walk to my closet. It was also my bedroom. I need my own space and sharing a room with seven people was not going to do it for me. So I chose to live in this closet! It's actually nice. A narrow mattress, small blanket, bundle of clothes as a pillow, and a box of clothes I use as a closet inside a closet and a nightstand.

I rummage through my dusty, old clothes. I pull out my trusty green plaid shirt, blue jean short, and worn out black sneakers. When ever I wore this outfit, good things happened.
