Chapter 22 Kiss Me

Ava's POV

"So are you going to tell me where we're going?'' I ask once more. He just chuckles at me and shakes is head for a no. I sigh and just go with it. I think we have been walking for an hour now. I could feel the strength in my legs wasting away.

Suddenly I felt something holding my hand. I jumped a little and looked down. It was just is hand. Flynn gave me a concerning look. My lips twitched as a smile grew upon my face. He returned the expression and looked forwards. I move my hand until I could feel his. Our fingers intertwined as we walked. He looked over at me, causing my cheeks to burn up.

"We're almost there." He finally spoke. In front of us was a very tall hill.

"Couldn't we have just drove here?" I ask as I look at how far up it was. Flynn starts to laugh.

"I thought the walk would be nice." I made an weird noise as we started to walk up. We were almost at the top when he stopped me.

"Close you eyes." Wait... what? Close my eyes?

"Why?" I ask crossing my arms over my chest.

"I have a surprise." I sigh and lower my arms.

"Ok but don't try anything while they're closed." He raised his hands in a surrender and shook his head side to side. I smile and closed my eyes, letting the darkness take over. Putting all my trust in Flynn.

Flynn's POV

I was walking up the hill with the girl who did weird things to my heart, Ava. I had told her to close her eyes. She looked so beautiful with her eyes closed. I can just imagine waking up to see her beautiful face. Oh please get a hold of yourself! She would never love you.

Never!

As we reached the top of the hill, I tried to imagine her reaction.

"Ok. You can open your eyes now." I watched as her eyes opened slowly, then widened.

"Flynn this is beautiful!" I laughed at her a bit. The sun was setting and we had a perfect view of the city.

"I thought you'd like it." I say sticking my hands in my pocket.

"I love it!" She turned around and I realized how close our faces were. Ava's cheeks turned crimson red, as mine did the same.

"Flynn." Ava whispered but I didn't really pay attention. I leaned in until our lips were pressed together. It was a little bit until she relaxed and kissed me back. Our lips moved perfectly in sync. Then I pull away and it clicks in what I just did. I kissed a girl whom I'm not dating.

"I... I'm sorry I don't know what happened." Ava giggles a bit and places her soft hand on my cheek.

"It's ok. I didn't mind it." She says. My eyes widen and I feel my cheeks burning.

"You... you didn't?!" She laughs and takes my hand. Her laugh is so beautiful.

"Let's watch the sun set."

Ava's POV

As we were watching the magnificent sunset filled with shades of pink, red, and yellow I remember I don't live alone yet so I have to take care of them. My foster siblings.

"Crap!" I yell as I stand up. Flynn gives me a confused look then stands up as well.

"What's wrong?" He asks almost as of there isn't a single care in the world. If only.

"I have to go home... NOW!" I start to rush to the hill when I hear Flynn calling my name so I stopped and look at him.

"Wait... why do you have to go Now?" He asks.
