There is no escaping your body. You cannot play hide and go seek with yourself. There is no "hold my purse Ren I'll be right back". That frightens some people. The feeling of being trapped our skin that we have to learn to appreciate. Constantly comparing ourselves to whose happen to be standing next too. We need to all stop. You need to stop. We do not need to always be in competition with our peers. We need to be our own version of beautiful. There needs to be more compliments towards ourselves than put downs. We need to be fucking proud to have the skin we have. We should not feel ashamed to feel comfortable in our bodies.

Envision a house, the majority of us have a house. (If not some place we call home no matter what that may be) If we get deeper and look within the house there is the interior. This is the little things that make it feel a little more like home, couches, chairs, tables and possibly a few paintings hanging along the wall. Your body is your house. You fall asleep in it everyday and do your daily life in your skin. It's your home. There may be things you don't like about inside your home. Maybe you don't like a particular painting in your living room. You think it's horrendous. You get so confused when guests come over and admire the piece of work. But, if that painting was taken out of your house. You would want it back, it wouldn't feel the same. There would be a blank space on the wall. You need to think of yourself that way. You may not have your favorite features. They are your features. You have to learn to accept that it is yours. Take ownership for yourself. Little details that you dislike about yourself, there is always one person admiring it. You are art. Not everyone takes a second look at it, when they do they realize how beautiful it is. Do not set fire to your neighbors house in order for yours to look more articulated.

It doesn't matter if you are 6 feet under, or your ashes are spread upon the sea. You will still have yourself. Where ever life takes you after it has been lived, you will never leave yourself completely. One of the difficult parts of living is those who are in our everyday lives. Those who surround us on a daily basis. Its the hardest part because we always feel the need to prove ourselves to everyone around us. That we can do it. That we are going to do it just because someone said we can't. Proving that we are smarter than we look. Proving that we don't need to have good grades to be smart. Proving we can't measure intelligence with a grade on a report card. Proving that we can be beautiful and not have certain features. Proving that we can handle yourself. Proving that we are mature. Proving that we have learned. Proving. Proving. Proof. We don't need to prove anything to anyone, this is not court. If you believe in yourself, you don't need to file papers of how right you are. You don't need to prove anything to anyone. If you don't believe in anything, any God, any high power. Please believe in yourself.
