Riiiiiiiiiiing!
Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing!
Ugh, stupid clock, maybe I can sneak five more minutes.....
Riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiing!
SMAASH!
No more ringing yay!
I remove my fist from the shattered alarm clock and sweat drop, sitting up. Ooops...... I broke it.... again. I put my hand on it activated my power by whispering "Time reversal!"
I didn't have to speak, it was just simplest for me to do so, anyways... Blue lines of every hue spread from my hands and onto the remnants of my clock, I removed my hands and the pieces pulled together as if magnetized, reattaching themselves until the clock was completely fixed. I begin to get dressed, not bothering to shower since I did so last night. Good thing that spell took up so little mana because I didn't want to use up energy unnecessarily. Especially with what's going on, especially with what I have to do...
I shook my head and walked out the door with my materials for school, I glanced at my house, it looked and felt lonely inside and out, it felt far too large for me to live in by myself.
I push the thoughts away as the house leaves my range of sight. I look around and see that there is no one in sight, that's to be expected though. I set my alarms for an hour earlier than necessary so I manage to get ready in time... And the free time is definitely nice too. As I near my school, I notice my friend Rin Tohsaka. Hmm........ It's unusual for her to be this early to school, I greet her cheerfully, waving my hand. "Ohaiyo Tohsaka-sama! Your awefully early today!"
She sighed, her shoulders drooping slightly as if relieved. "So that's it, what a relief." She muttered that under breath as if not wanting me to hear her. Hmm, definitely strange. She perked up slightly and gave a small smile and bow. "Good morning to you Futona-kun! Do you happen to know the time?" This time her tone was cheerfull.
I cocked my head. "I think its around 7:40. Was your alarm off? She inclined her head slightly affirming my assumption.
She then whispered, as if to herself. "That's odd, my clocks were set an hour ahead, not just my alarm but the ones on the walls as well."
I walked to her side and poked her stomach. "Tohsaka-sama with whispering to yourself are you asleep? If you keep doing that you'll get locked in a looney bin."
She gave me a strange look and then smiled and reached down to ruffle my hair. Ugh why do people do that, just because I'm way younger and shorter than most of the people I know doesn't mean they should do stuff like that! Hmm... I guess I should explain, you see everyone I go to school with are several years older than I am. Fun. I just had to skip five grades, ugh. Being in high school at the age of nine can really be a drag. Any who, moving on..
"Futo-kun you really do have a wild imagination don't you?!"
I gave her a closed eye grin. "That's the tip of the ice cube Tohsa-sama"
Tohsaka sweat dropped. "You are truly an unusual kid, its a good thing you're cute!"
I sweat dropped. I have a feeling that today is going to be strange, especially with what's to come tonight.

(Third person P.O.V)

Rin Tohsaka looked at the young boy pouting at her. She wasn't lying when she said he was cute, well in her eyes anyways, like a little brother. He was several inches shorter than she was, his head coming up to her chest. His hair was a stark, bright white, it was short and spiky poofing up in random places.  His eyes were a strangely luminescent blue (A/n that basically means neon or shiny) her eyes were similar but hers weren't quite as bright. Like her the nine year old didn't wear a standard uniform but instead of her combination of red and black he wore a dark blue button up shirt that fit him snugly with a lighter blue tie, and pure black pants accompanied with dark black loafers covered his lower half and feet.
He certainly is unique, its incredibly uncommon for a person to be raised up just one grade let alone five! That wasn't the only reason though, one minute he could act cheery and slightly childish, but the next old and mature, his eyes filled with an unspoken tale of pain and burdens. Hm.. Even his name suggests such things. Futona Futan. Undeserved hardship. I wonder how much truth is in those two words.
Rin shook her head, clearing away those thoughts as they passed through the gates of the school and encountered the head of the archery club Mitsuzuri, she was getting something out of the vending machine, once she stood up she noticed them coming her way. "Ohaiyo Futona-kun! Oh Tohsaka your early today!" She waved happily as she showed them a can of premade coffee. Rin was about to answer but Futan beat her to it. "Ohaiyo Mitsuzuri-sama! It's funny I said the same thing to her as well!"
"Heh, that is kind of funny! Would you guys like to come and watch us practice archery? Since our best quit we need new members so we're practicing to draw potential members."
Rin and Futan shook their heads at the same time. "Sorry I'm just not interested in archery but I hope you get new members!"
Futan nodded in agreement. They then walked their separate ways, Rin going with Mitsuzuri to talk some more, and Futan heading to class after yelling a cheery "See you in a little bit!"
As Rin walked to the dojo with Mitsuzuri she took one last glance at the little boy walking towards the school entrance Such an unusual kid.

(Futan's P.O.V)

As I walked away from Tohsaka and Mitsuzuri I can't help but look around. I wonder where she is this time?

(mystery P.O.V)

I sit in my hiding spot looking down through the leaves at my silver haired target. Hehehe, he's gonna be surprised this time. I hope he brought me candy. Ooh, maybe gummy bears! Gummy bears......... I slap myself. No can't get distracted, even if the distraction is delicious. Time to strike!

(Futan's P.O.V)

I keep walking until a hear a rustle of leaves, I freeze. Uh oh. A flash of black and red darts from a tree directly against the wall of the school.
I tried to dodge but failed epically. I yelped as I was lifted off my feet and twirled around, all the while being crushed in a hug. "Ani! Did I suprise you, did I Ani!?"
The person speaking and subsequently holding me was my absolute best friend, my sister in all but blood. A crazy sister, but a sister all the same.
I tried to push her off while laughing loudly. "Nami! Imouto, yes you surprised me! Now let me go or I won't give you gummy bears!"
As soon as I said those words she dropped me and got to the ground and groveled. What a strange person that worked their way into my heart.
Nami was hilarious. "I'm sorry Ani! Please please please forgive me! And please please please give me gummy bears!"
I laughed and took a package out of my bag and threw it into the air. She immediately jumped up and snatched it. She tore the package open and began shoveling gummy bears into her mouth. I laughed again and took in her appearance. She was fairly tall for a fourteen year old, her hair was jet black reaching her waist, complementing her eyes which were a glowing bright red. She wore her usual attire of a loosely fitting red button up shirt and black skinny jeans. put that together with pure white skin she gave off a near ghostly impression. We both headed in after taking off our shoes and putting on slippers we quickly walked up the stairs to our classroom and sat down waiting for the day to truly begin. I wonder what's in store especially with what I must do tonight.
