Chapter 8: Tales of Elaine

Elsa's POV

I recalled that the tales behind Elaine was very sad . Sometimes , I did not know how to tell her the truth when she grew up .

A tear escaped from my eyes .

“Are you okay ? Did he hurt you ?” Jack asked worried . I shook my head . “ Mind me telling you a story ?”

Jack's POV

“ I had a roommate back in university . She was my best friend , and she had unique silvery white hair like yours . But she dyed it anyway . ”

I stopped the car and listened . She looked up to the sky and silenced with her red eyes .

“ She was a nerd in university . Nobody really cared about her . All they knew was she was my roommate . I was known for the top student in the university . She was actually beautiful inside . ”

“ She liked Hans . She said that he was clever and handsome . He was the guy of her dreams . ”

She wiped her tears .

“ She was very sad when she saw the bunch of roses on my table . I quickly returned the roses to him and told him the fact that she liked him . She told me to accept him . She said that she would forget about him . ”

“ So I became his girlfriend . Things seem fine at first , but I realized that all of that were lies . He went to clubs every night . He ended up sleeping with a lot of girls . Well , I did not care . I just wish that he would not cause trouble . ”

She stopped and sobbed more . I patted her back . I did not know what to say .

“ One day , I caught him in bed with her . I did not feel sad . I thought it was chance to ship them together . At last , she got pregnant . She found him and told him that . ”

“ He roared at her and slapped her . He told her to abort the baby . See ? How heartless he was . "

" Day by day , the baby was going to be born . After the baby was born -"

" She killed herself !"

Elsa sobbed louder .

" Nobody wanted the poor baby . She was left in the hospital because she had a heart disease . Every day , I went to the hospital to see the baby . I always heard the pity words of the nurses . "

" That idiotic Hans did not know the baby was born . He was kicked out of the university two months before . I was not planning to tell him . Since the child was unwanted for him , he might abuse her . "

" Aftee I had finished university , I adopted the baby . Who knows that I am having a same company with him ? He knew about Elaine and thought I got pregnant without his knowing . He did not worth Elaine ! "

" Okay , can you drive me to a coffee shop ?"

Punzie's POV

I was home because it was the holidays . Anna and I were actually writing a book together , which was I Love You , You Love Me . It was about the love story we planned for Jelsa . Wow , we were so fabulous !

Elaine had been crying a lot lately because Elsa was far in Spain  .

" Punz , Elaine is visiting the doctor today ! Get your car readied !" yelled Anna . " Yeah Anna ! Stop chatting with your little Kristy , you were dead when mum was home ! "

" Hey !" complained Anna . Elaine woke up because of the noise and cried .

" Hush little baby , don't cry ! Auntie Punz is here !"

"That's my baby !"

I looked around and saw the one and only Eugene smirking behind .

" Go away ! " Gosh , I don't want him to see me acting like a mum !
