You were sitting in the hall of Gakuen academy as a guy named Vash wouldn't let you go, a wave of awkwardness and worry spread over at you as you looked up at him. He looked slightly annoyed with you as you gulped a lump down your throat, "Tell me what is going on?" he asked bluntly as you shook your head, "I don't understand what you mean, nothing is going on..." you innocently spoke to him as he glared. "You know what I mean, I saw something on your wrists!" he yelled loudly as you rolled your eyes, "There is nothing on my arms, now back off!" you didn't understand how he could of saw the fresh cuts, scabs and scars on your wrists, they had been covered by your sleeve the whole time, or so you thought.

"Y/N, can you do me a favour and hand out the worksheets for me?" the teachers asked as you nodded, you got up and took the sheets from the desk and calmly handed them out to the class. You started from the back and made your way to the front but as you were handing out the sheets one of the girls stuck their foot out sending you flying across the room, you skidded across the carpet making your sleeves raise and burns imprint on your palms. You ended up stopping right in front of Vash as he looked down at you and then gazed at your wrists in shock.

He looked down at you angry that you weren't telling him the truth, "I saw them in last lesson when you were tripped over, has someone hurt you, did you do it to yourself?" he questioned his eyes wide as you gulped some more and sighed looking down unsure whether to admit, it was like you were under interrogation. "Yes... I did them..." you admitted raising your hands in the air in a defensive pose. He nodded sadly at you and sighed loudly. As soon as he did this someone came running towards him shouting out, "big brother, big brother..." he looked over and saw his little sister Lili looking up at him naïvely. "It is time to go home, you promised you would walk with me remember?" suddenly he remembered and nodded, "Sure I will still walk with you, I remember, just let me have this discussion with my friend and I will walk you okay?" she nodded at his words then ran off to join her friendship group again, he turned to you as shock covered your face. "You think I am your friend?" you asked as he looked amazed that you were actually listening to him.

"Ugh, yes, I do..." he awkwardly muttered looking away from you, then back at you. You blushed lightly and smiled weakly. "Wow..." you drifted as he built up the courage to continue his broken sentence, "I actually kind of was hoping we could be... more... then friends..." he finished as you smiled at him, "I would love that!" you practically screamed surprising him and making him jump. "Only!" he started, you knew what he was going to ask of you as you already began to nod, "You don't know what I am going to ask... anyway, only if you stop hurting yourself, okay?" with this you nodded more enthusiastically, you knew with him you had no reason to continue. Knowing that he loved you and cared for you which he rarely did for anyone was enough, he smiled and helped you up. "Good... now do you too wish to be walked home?" you smirked softly and nodded, "Of course!" you reply was simply as he pecked your cheek gently...
