Midorima x Reader - Major

College AU where (Name), Takao, and Midorima attend the same university.

(Name) stumbled over her feet as she was dragged through campus at the pace of a sprint by none other than Hawkeye himself. ((Heh. I like the Avengers)) And by Hawkeye, I mean Takao Kazunari. He had insisted that (Name) absolutely had to meet one of his closest friends. Right before her class at 11:00. It was 10:40.

(Name) was fuming to say the least. Why couldn't he introduce her to one of his friends some other time?! At the rate they were running, she was convinced that she'd be tasting concrete any time now.

As they closed in on the park in the center of campus, Takao shouted, "SHIN-CHAAAAAAAAAN!", causing several people to stare with annoyance.

(Name) soon figured out who "Shin-chan" was; He was the only person within a 100 yard radius that didn't look disturbed. Instead, he kept a solid poker face. Majestic.

"Shin-chan" was a well built man, like Takao, which led (Name) to believe he was a basketball player as well. He had mossy green hair and eyes just a tad more emerald. He regarded Takao with an expression almost like resignation and adjusted his square frames with taped fingers.

Next he turned to (Name), almost laughing at her windblown appearance and dazed demeanor. It occurred to him that her (color) hair would have been quite elegant had Takao not taken her prisoner and transported her with such speed. Her (color) eyes regarded him with a newfound curiosity and a tinge of something else he couldn't identify.

They probably could have stood and analyzed each other for hours, had Takao not stepped in.

"Shin-chan! This is (Last Name) (First Name)! (Name)-chan, this is my teammate, Midorima Shintarou!"

(Name) regarded the ((carrot)) man shyly and approached the bench he sat on to shake hands.

Midorima stood up, and the height difference was almost comical, but he shook her hand without a word.

From behind (Name), Takao smirked and dashed away.

"Bye (Name)-chan! Bye Shin-chan!"

He had left them. What a sly ass.

(Name) panicked almost instantly, "Um- N-Nice to meet you."

Midorima felt a twinge of guilt, she was obviously very intimidated by him.

"Likewise."

Over the course of the next few weeks, (Name) and Midorima began to run into each other frequently. The next month they discovered that it was convenient for both of them to study together at the library.

On one such occasion, Midorima brought (favorite snack) for them to munch on while they quizzed each other in their respective subjects. (Name) had a calculus quiz the day after next, and Midorima needed to analyze "The Grapes of Wrath".

(Name)'s face instantly lit up when he sat across from her at the library with the container full of (favorite snack).

"You brought (favorite snack)?! It's my favorite! How'd you know?", she was mildly loud, since it was late and virtually no one was in the library, aside from them.

Midorima averted his gaze and huffed, "I picked it out randomly at the store. Just a coincidence."

(Name) laughed and murmured a quiet "thank you", and proceeded to scribble something hastily in a (color) notebook, occasionally looking back up at him. She then put down her pen and closed the notebook, but put neither of them away.
