"Perhaps you need to mind your own business, ya know?"
"Why would I when there's so much going on in your life?"
"I sense some sarcasm. Bitch."
"Honey, I'm just saying the truth. Ain't no shame in that."
"Oh please, indirectly insulting me should be shameful."
"Whatever you say boo. So tell me about Mr. Stranger Boy..?"
"Why would you even want to know? It's not like you care. You're gay. Remember?"
"Well duh, I remember I'm a lesbian, but I can pretend to play for the other team too!"
Her hair in braids flowed flawlessly down her back and around her face, framing her round face perfectly. While my hair is mainly in a top bun, but today it's held back with a hair tie in a low pony tail.
Tangents are really my specialty. Sigh.
I groan into my pillow. My roommate is relentless. She is only excited because beside her and two other people, someone else actually spoke to me today. And held a little conversation with me.
"Fine. But..."
"There's always a butt with you." I wink at her about her pun and she laughs with the accidental joke.
"Let's do the three word rule to settle all your annoying questions. Okay?"
"Why do you always do this to me?"
"Because you invented it! Ha!"
"You got me there."
"So three words. Skinny. Tall. Mellifluous."
