Sea Dragon Slayer

Chapter One • Queen of the Sea♚

"Cordelia!" A feminine voice shouted. "Enough playing, we must study! You need to learn how to use your dragon slayer magic!" The feminine voice was the voice of a baby blue dragon. The parent of Cordelia Kevser. Cordelia was a dragon slayer, a Sea Dragon Slayer to be exact.

"Yes mother I'm sorry." She bowed and continued her studies.

•Present Day•
"Cordelia, get up this instant!" A old voice called out, a beautiful woman shot up out of bed and threw the covers to the side. "Yes Mrs. Keller." Cordelia answered, she walked into the bathroom and jumped into the shower.

Cordelia was surrounded by mermaids, fishes, and sharks. She lived underwater. She was known as the 'Queen of the Sea' but she certainly didn't feel like one.

After she got out of the shower she dressed up into a blue dress and clear flats, and headed out to town.

"Hey Cordelia did you find your tail yet!" A girl snickered. She had a sparkling mermaid tail, Cordelia was an outsider. She had two legs and dressed like any normal human would. Every other mermaid had a bikini top and a mermaid tail. Cordelia wanted to be a mermaid so bad. She didn't understand why she was the odd one out.

Cordelia was the only one in the sea who possessed magic power. She had to keep it a secret because she would be kicked out of the town, disgraced even. Cordelia had lungs that made her able to breathe underwater, and was born with amazing swimming skills. Her vocal chords made it able for her to speak underwater.

"Go and live with the humans will ya?" A boy chimed in. She was gestured to leave, and so she did. She fought back her tears, and swam back to her home.

Cordelia desperately wanted to go and visit the humans on dry land, but she was scared. As well as forbidden to by her mother before she vanished 7 years ago.

She knows that there are other dragon slayers, her mother talked about three others very often and how'd we meet one day. The first one was Natsu, Natsu Dragneel. She loved talking about him. He was a fire dragon slayer. The second one was Gajeel Redfox. She didn't talk about him much but all Cordelia knew was that he was an iron dragon slayer. The last one was a girl named Wendy Marvel. She was a sky dragon slayer.

Cordelia desperately wanted to meet them. To finally have something in common with someone. But her mother forbid it until she was 19. Cordelia is currently 18. Her birthday is only two months away. But she can hardly contain herself.

"Home so early on a Saturday?" One of the maids asked her, she nodded and walked to her room, sobbing quietly.

"It's just not fair!" She shouted to the water filled air, "Everyone fits in but me! I rather be a regular mermaid like everyone else than a stupid Queen." She screamed into her pillow. This was almost the usual routine. Everyone made fun of her. They all secretly envied Cordelia, but they would never let her know that.

"I can't wait to leave!" She cried, and all of a sudden darkness appeared.

New story!!!! I'm actually proud of this idea. People have probably done it but I don't know it seems cool 😂 DONT FORGET TO VOTE!!
