Chapter 1: Back To White Chapel   

•Ethan's POV• 

The images of the last few hours rushed through my head.

How Benny and I found out that vice principle Stern was an evil magician who wanted to destroy every vampire in White Chapel. How we found the Lucifractor that made this plan possible to Stern. How I decided that it was time to dissolve Jesse's banishment. And also my first date with Sarah... Why didn't she like it? Were we really meant to be just friends? .But there was no time to think about this now.

Right now we were still running from the energy wave the Lucifractor made. It had the force to kill Sarah and Jesse and possibly also Benny and me. I knew that we couldn't outrun the energy wave for long. Especially with Benny who could hardly run. So I wasn't surprised about Jesse's suggestions to leave Benny behind but there was no way that I'd do that.

Another idea came to my head but I wasn't sure if it would work.

I had discovered my ability to teleport myself into the mind and visions of others just a few days ago and I had no idea if I was able to take people with me. But right now it was the only way to safe us. At least I didn't saw another possibility.

I grabbed Sarah's and Benny's hands and screamed:

"Jesse, touch my shoulder!"

"Why should I do that?!" Jesse, who was running a few feet in front of us, replayed.

"Just do it! We don't have time left!" I screamed.

Finally he reached out for my shoulder. As soon as he touched it I focused on the first person who came in my mind. Rory. He left the town together with the council and should be safe now.

For a short moment everything went black. Then I found myself standing in front of a foggy forest. I looked around and to my relief Sarah, Benny and Jesse were standing next to me. And also Rory stood next to us. Of course, it was his mind.

"Dudes how did you get in here?" He said with an amazed face.

"Ugh I'm in the mind of this nerd?!" Jesse said sounding disgusted.

"Hey, who do you call a nerd?! You're in MY mind! That means I'm the boss!" Rory said. Jesse just hissed at him angrily.

"I-I changed my mind. He scares me. Ethan, get him out of here!"    

"Yeah why did you save him anyways?" Benny asked.

Meanwhile he was sitting on the floor, still weakened through the spell that hit him.

"Benny you know that he helped us a lot! I couldn't just let him die." I said.

"Oh thanks for saving me great Ethan!" Jesse said sarcastically," but I could've helped myself!"

"Sure you could..." Sarah rolled her eyes at her ex-boyfriend.

"Umm...not that I mind, but how long do you plan to stay here?" Rory said awkwardly.

I smiled at him," thanks for bringing this up... Do you know if it's safe to go back to White Chapel?"

"This big magical bam is over, if you're talking 'bout that..." Rory said, slightly confused.

"Yes exactly!" I said, hoping that Rory and I were really talking about the same thing.

"Okay guys," I continued," I think it's safe to go back, but be careful, vice principle Stern might still be there..."

"It would be an honor to kill that bastard." Jesse snarled.   

"You can tell the council that it's safe to come back" I said.
