Harry's POV

Work had been extra boring this morning.

The manuscripts I read through before lunch were terrible, I had to rewrite most of them.

After I finished eating my kale and cranberry salad, I sat down in my cubicle, ready to read more (awful) manuscripts.

I picked up the last manuscript in my pile.

The title read 'Girl Almighty'.

As I finished reading it, I couldn't help but think how amazing this manuscript was. The meaning behind this story could be interpreted so many different ways. Some readers would most likely call the Girl Almighty a god, as the characters in the story toast to her in order to praise her. Though, the others would say that she's a fake and her love is made up because they can't imagine someone so beautiful and caring is real.

There was barely any editing needed on this piece, only a few words to be corrected.

Halfway through my editing, my co-worker Liam, walked up to my cubicle.

"Hey Harry, I was wondering if you could go make me a sandwich?"

I sighed. Since I'm the intern people think they can tell me to do everything and anything for them, especially Liam.

"I'm quite busy at the moment, but it looks like you're okay to make it yourself." I winked pointing to his empty hands.

"Feisty." Liam said, putting his hands up in defence before stalking off the kitchen.

Why is everyone here a jackass?

Liam was the worst one, he'd always bother me. The first few days I worked here I did everything for him because I was so naïve. After three days of running around for him I had enough and told him right where to put that coffee. He was quite shocked when I finally stood up for myself.

I chuckled at the memory before going back to editing.

It was around 9 pm when I had finally finished up.

I cleaned up my area and walked to the boss' office.

I knocked before entering seconds later.

"Hi, Zayn. I was just on my way out and wanted to give you this manuscript."

He swivelled to face me in his chair, then pointed at the Bluetooth attachment in his ear.

If I forgot to mention this before, he's kind of an asshole too.

Everyone here is, so you could say work sucked.

I walked over to his desk and dropped the manuscript on his desk.

He shooed me out with his hand while continuing to speak to the unknown caller.

"Yeah, just tell him to drop it off at my house. No, not the one here, the one in London..."

I closed the door so I couldn't hear his snobby conversation about his many houses.

I scrunched up my nose in disgust, why does everyone I work with have to be so rude?

In the elevator ride down to the lobby I begin to think this is why my mum says I don't have many friends. I just avoid people I don't like, which is most of Doncaster's population.

The only people that live in Doncaster I can handle are Louis (obviously), Niall, Gemma and my mum.

I let out a huff as I exit the elevator, I should've stayed at the bakery with all the old women.

They're angels compared to my new co-workers.

Opening the door to my small flat, I begin to feel overwhelming hunger.

For some reason I smell...pizza?

WHOS IN MY- oh wait, it's probably Niall. He's broken into my house many times before. Well, he has a key so it isn't technically breaking in, but I still call it that.

"Hey lad! I'm in the kitchen."

I roll my eyes and follow the sound of the familiar Irish accent.

"Wow, thank you so much for waiting for me to get home first." I state sarcastically as I still on the bar stool beside Niall.

"I figured I'd come make you dinner." He says motioning towards the pizza with his hands in a 'ta-da' position.

"You didn't even make it, you ordered it." I point to the Pizzeria Milano logo on the side of the box.

"Shut up and be grateful I even got you anything. You never buy me anything, no jewelry, no clothes, nothing!" Niall mocks, imitating a girly voice (which he's scarily good at).

I laugh so hard I fall off my stool, clenching my stomach.

I pick myself up off the ground to grab two plates for Niall and I.

"Wanna watch some football and talk about boys?" I smirk and wiggle my eyebrows at Niall as I grab two slices of cheese-only pizza for myself.

Niall is the only person I can talk about boys with because we're both bisexual.

"Of course!" He says as we both make our way to my small living area.

What an extraordinary way to end an ordinary day.

A/N: Well hello there! :) I hope you're enjoying this so far. I'd love for you guys to tell me what you think! xx
