Sunset - chapter 2

We stopped in the middle of nowhere it was sunset and I was getting pretty sleepy I yawned he chuckled silently "we rest here "he said getting out the car I did to we would sleep inthe back of the truck I hopped in next to him he took the blankets out the bag using them to cover himself I laid farthest away from him looking out at the sunset these are the moments you would cherish before you perished that rhymed why am I so cheesy maybe because the world took off leaving animals behind the rapid change in community was because of a war between Russia and united states the world fell apart as everywhere was a warzone most didn't survive but now since both leaders or government killed each other their are no rules at all theirs gruesome fights rape you can't stop its a complete nightmare. Everything we knew was a lie economies new it was gonna happen. I shivered it was cold but I didn't have a comforter.  " Cameron " I spoke "mum" he hummed " I'm cold" I said looking up at him we rested on the backside of the front seats to see the sunset and rise. He opened a bit of the blanket letting me in I snuggled up next to him my head on his shoulder as I gripped his shirt I looked up at his sleepy face his eyes remained closed I smiled and looked down as my cheeks grew warm and I bit my bottom lip he's really kind and demanding. I looked up at his freckled cheek he was adorable and I did the unthinkable I didn't even think about it . It just happened I lightly drew my lips to his cheek and kissed the soft material laying back in his arms and I watched as the sunset went down silently I quickly shut my eyes I'm afraid of the dark severely darkness means end it means danger strange remains of evil linger he'll protect me right he's here for me I just met him I don't know what he'll do he seems sweet though I breath heavily and drifted of into a sleeping abiss.

Cameron's P.O.V

I felt her soft lips touch my cheek as I started to drift off to sleep I smiled knowing she didn't want me to know her intentions she was something I was gonna take care of as long as I can well for this trip anyway I have a girlfriend and I love her very much her names Priscilla I also took her to the Y.B county Priscilla would flip if she knew this beautiful girl I have my arms wrapped around kissed me well she'd flip if she new I shared a blanket with her and wrapped NY arms around her and kissed me well this situation is bad  either way so I just have to keep this business wise yea okay when she wakes up I looked down at her she looked so peaceful and vulnerable I looked to her rosy pink soft lips then back to her those beautiful blue eyes that open widely when she fears or is alert she seems so fragile something you don't want to mess with at the same time its like she never tightened up a bit she's so chill like the world hasn't ended I drift off to sleep.

In the morning

Reece's P.O.V

My eyes fluttered open to see Cameron wasn't next to me but I had a pillow where his chest used to be I wiped the sleep out of my eyes and sat up I noticed that the truck was moving I stood up. "Morning friend " he said " morning associate " I said friend is a little over the line their buddy your my transportation not my 'friend' after this we don't see talk or look at each other again . I remembered the kiss. "When should we be in London " I said " in 2.33 seconds he said I saw the city my eyes widen " thank you so much" I said I looked around standing on the back of the truck looking around at the city when I hear tires bust wait no please I was almost their people came up from behind bushes trees with mask one tried to shoot me but I've learned fighting any type you can think of my grandpa set me up for the real world and I promised I'd find home I have to make him proud I catch it as it was about to pierce my adome I plunge it into one of their legs creating a wound I kicked them down two came at me I elbowed one in the stomach flipping over the other one I took two knifes out of my  shoes throwing one at the shoulder of an attacker hitting them right where I wanted "yes " I said one came from behind I grabbed hold of their head flipping onto their neck and putting them to a sleeping haze I flipped of my hands touching the pavement of the road I kick two in the gut sending them down two boys grab my arms I flip them over doing a summer salt they lay on the road groaning a girl shot at me with a dart gun in my leg I looked down and back at her why I was still awake I through a knife at her hitting her in between her rib cage yea die on that biotch I fell to the ground trying to keep my now drousy eyes open please don't close my eyes betray my wishes and close I fell into a sleeping haze.

2 hours later 

My eyes shoot open from the terrible dream I wasn't sure why I had this awful dream I was in a hospital bed I was in a hospital I saw my clothes on a chair I stood up ripping out the tubes and testines I put on my lace panties under the gown and my jeans I turn towards the back wall undoing my gown I put on my lace bra and my white tangtop which had stains I wouldn't remember came from I put on my shoes and my long blonde hair was to my waist I  put on my sweater and my knifes where are my knifes I'm in deepshit " looking for these" a slow raspy voice called I looked behind me to see a curly haired vixen with green eyes and plump pink lips  " yea can I have those back I kinda need them to not rip your throat out" I said nodding he chuckled lightly " you've got no chance maybe your right with those but with out them you have a very fat chance of surviving " I said " don't be so sure about that sweetie" he said throwing me my knifes I catch them wait how long has he been there. "How long have you been standing their ?" I said " I watched them undress you and you clothed yourself and I guess you can say I enjoyed seeing your beautiful body your killer curves and" he said I cut him off " ew gross,creep" I spat walking past him he grabbed my arm " where do you think your going " he said " where ever people aren't I knew I shouldn't trusted that boy " I said yanking out of his grip and walked down the hallway no one stopped me surprisingly I opened the doors to see half of this building was gone. I stopped myself to see people dead below I covered my mouth 'I promise grandad ' I recalled I groaned I would have no problem throughing myself suicidally ugh why does the world make things so complicated. I turned around to see that vixen he was raising an eyebrow " why didn't you jump?" He asked I chuckled and smiled " because I promised a very  special person in my life that I'd find the safe haven and not result to my suicide conquests" I said maybe I can stay around just til I find the safe haven " really that's what where all looking for" he said all these people want to find it to well at least I was tricked in the right direction their should only be one direction but not my choice I smirked " are you in" he said I nodded " I'll stay til I find the safe haven " I said they smiled " welcome newcomer " said a girl with a wide smile what about those people I injured now I kinda feel bad for all those wounds I caused " what about those I injured " I said  looking up at him " their fine they do this all the time" he said okay grand dad I'll keep my  eyes open for you and I know I can make you proud .
