I growled softly as I watch that Stacy chick grab my mate and drag her away from me when I was so close to getting her!

Is it me or is there a familiar scent floating near by?

I slightly growled as I glanced briefly at Mark who was sitting peacfully with his arm around Lilyan just as Kyle and Liam went to get some drinks for their own mates while I stood in the middle of the walkway trying to figure out where I knew this smell from.

As I was sa-thinking, like the one about Kali eariler today. How you had the most vivid thought and imagination of f*cking her. I blushed at this, I didn't realize he read that let alone saw that. I sighed, mumbling something under my breath.

Yes! Score 1 for Mark! Mark grinned at my blushing face and shaking body. He frowned at my shaking form and stood, getting something to drink because he didn't want to alert Kali so he went to Liam.

Why are you shaking? It wasn't Mark who asked this. It was the one person I hated with a burning passion. Why you ask. I'll tell you later. Slowly I turned around to face a guy whose scent rolled off him and flooded my scenses, though, Kali's scent was more overwhelming.

"Matthew!" Mark called out before calmly walking over and high fiving the man.

"Hey Mark! Hows my baby brother doing?" Matthew asked as he hugged Mark.

"Great! Found my mate but how are you and Heidi?" I stood there awkwardly as the, two out of the three triplets, Mark and Matthew talked. I wanted to move but something in Matthew's auruoa had me glued to where I was, his eyes weren't so happy, in fact, they where clouded and fulled of apprehension and remorse.

"Matthew...is everything OK?" Mark asked, having the same exact thought and feeling I was.

"Yea, we're great it's just..." Matthew mumbled, adverting our anxious gazes.

"Just what?"

"Our son, Toni, h-he didn't make it..." Matthew mumbled. This shattered both men, Mark gripped my arm as he held up his older brother.

"What do you mean? I thought it was just a mild injury! I mean he's a wolf and all. He should have pulled through the surgery" Mark's deep and sweet voice was filled with worry and remorse and the sudden news of his nephews death.

I watched as Aiden and Mark talked to another guy. I could feel Aiden's anger roll off him in waves, I could also feel the remorse and apprehension rolling off Mark and that other guy. Something didn't feel right, I slowly walked over, hoping I wouldn't cause problems for worrying about a friend.
